Oh btw, you can / the hell out of the AUTHORS SITE and poke around a bit. Havent checked if the content is already out there in the videos/etc (cause Ive only watched the one that pointed this out), but its fun anyways heheeh breaking out the coffee and proceeding to tinker now...

Just a quick note here,
As I stated, the AUTHORS SITE directories can be accessed by /'ing the URL: http://patrickcarman.com/archives/skeletoncreek/ -And there is interesting stuff you can find there.

But, the: skeletoncreek/research/recovered_files/video/ -files have been removed. As this entry from the authors NEWS/BLOG confirms (see the "Patrickcarman.com site hacked, files removed 08/19/08" thread).

The upshot: If you go to the youtube channel, site and blog by User "skeletoncreekisreal" and view the vids. Be advised (exempting minor details you would normally find) that almost everything you could possibly find is outlined in the videos (including a couple things that I thought werent documented yet, but was just updated and documented in the most recent video posted on youtube 22-NOV)
There are about 2-3 things that are not documented in the vids (but these tid-bits are the exception).

From what I can tell, User "skeletoncreekisreal" is the only source of the vids now. And he narrates throughout all the vid posts, talking over the vids, pausing etc (so the posted vids are not the "original" content). The narration also contains argish/nudge type questions in list format at the end to sum up each vid post. So watch these with a grain of salt...

EDIT from 13-DEC: Sorry bout the length (didn't want to double post) but this is picking up steam on the CREEK BLOG & YOUTUBE. Also: This post was researched 23 through 27-NOV so I don't need to credit anyone from either site

Noted: Mark 00:22 shows a journal page where you can see most of the letters from the last word on the page. Coupled with a screen shot of a login with a partially viewable word at mark 00:24 (the same word) you can piece together a PW: "Amontillado" (this word is a type of Sherry, see this WIKI REF)

Then if you go to THIS PAGE, you will notice the following: http://sarahfincher.com/forryan/main.html PW=HOUSEOFUSHER
Login and you can view a vid not posted on youtube yet. -You can also login with "Amontillado" and you recieve the following warning which leads to another usable password (previous to this post EDIT "Amontillado" worked, but now you get this warning because that login is probably already published in the book to be activated when it is released etc):

Using the PW from the Warning, you can watch a 06:54 length vid that has all kinds of other stuff to check out.

Anyways, this is either winding down or about to pick up. I really can't tell either way.

We got a five drops, an advance readers copy of the book and a letter from Sarah Fincher. The letters had alchemy symbols that we used to unlock this site;

are the five sets you need to get to the next site. Which happens to be a place where the author of the book can webcast to us.

If anyone wants to see how this developed, go to THESE THREADS at the SCIR FORUM.

Long story short: PhantomJeff from the SCIR forum found character SARAH FINCHERS MYSPACE. And soon after that, she started dumping coords in her books section leading to 5 drops across the U.S. unlocking the site Chance stated above.

That site was originally a countdown (31 hrs). We /'ed the URL and found the first input form to be used after the countdown elapsed (the PM saw this and locked it soon thereafter with the message "nice try..."). Armed with the first form, we had a heads up on the elements/answers that would get us through the input forms to THIS DESTINATION after the countdown.

Note: The webcast is currently set to go live Friday 13th @ 6:30-8:00 PM PST.
Also: The book releases on the 10th (3 days before the webcast).

On the upside: There is a second book scheduled around September (long wait). But there is the possibility that some other stuff could jump off on the SCIR SITE and YOUTUBE CHANNEL as the last vid (#13) was a cliff-hanger from hell, just like I suspect the end of book one will be...
