Edited the above post for some quick thoughts on th first.

As for the second, the numbers/digits look like hexadecimal, except they only have five letters. Maybe you have to apply coloured filters to the picture to make them show what they're hiding?

Or maybe the codes at the bottom are codes for colors themselves? (i.e. white is #FFFFFF) I'll check and see what I can find as far as that goes...

EDIT: Well, this is what I got, F8F8FF = Ghost White, DC143C = Crimson, and 7FFFD4 = Aquamarine, which, if you replace the codes with the colors you get this:

Ghost White (5, 8 ) Crimson (4) Aquamarine (10)
Ghost White (4) // Crimson (2) Aquamarine (3)
Crimson (7) // Crimson (6) Aquamarine (3)
Ghost White (5) // Ghost White (2, 10) Crimson (2)
Ghost White (10) // Crimson (3) // Aquamarine (1)
Crimson (4)

Well, it's easier to look at, but it doesn't get us much farther...
Anyone have any idea what those numbers could mean?

What if the numbers in the parentheses go with the actual words of the colors? Like Ghost White (5) being the letter T?

You might be onto something. Doing that, keep in mind that I'm ignoring spaces, and keeping in //...

Yeah, I don't have a Blogger either... Heh, wow, I feel useful.

Now onto Seth's code...

EDIT: Oh wait, I think as long as you have like, an LJ or e-mail account, you can still post on Blogger.

Oh, I've got AIM. I wish more blogs would enable Anonymous posting like A Lack of Lexicon does!

Could you post Seth's code on here? I'll get to work on it a bit!

I have NO idea what to make of Seth's message. I've tried scrambling the capital letters or thinking of a cipher but I'm drawing an epic blank. I've resorted to going back into his blogs and looking for clues.

Well, here's Seth's code:

Interesting Songs
Strangers in a strange land (30 second to mars) becomeing the bull (atreyu) all my friends are metal heads(less than jake) kill all your friends(my chemical romance) better (Hoobastank)come close (Saosin) social enemies (Ozzy Osbourne) the gentle art of making enemies (Faith no more) become (To tell) (Candlebox) allies (Heart) California uber allies (Dead Kennedys) becomEing (pantera) falling asleep a strangers (pierce the veil) looking up(paramore) in Between (linkin Park) the approaching curve (Rise Against) mirrors (Envy on the Coast) it's far better to learn (Saosin) you won't hear this (Envy on the Coast) butterf lies and hurricanes (Muse)breathe today (Flyleaf) you (breaking Benjamin) the Day I left the womb (Escape the fate) only dangerous on days that end in y (The A.k.a.s) I hate everything about you (Three days grace) all that I've got (the used) I will not bow (Breaking Benjamin)n ever surrender (Skillet) lie lie lie (Serj Tankian) born to quit (The used) you give love a bad name (Atreyu) time is running out (Muse) the science of selling yourself short (Less than jake) and the hero will drown (Story of the Year) you fight me (Breaking Benjamin)if you can't live without me, why aren't you dead yet? (mayday parade) no place to hide (korn) beautiful bride (Flyleaf) you'll be a corpse (The sleeping) doomsday (ateryu) they always come back (I am ghost) I will follow you into the dark (death cab for cutie) I'd hate to be you when people find out what this song is about (Mayday parade) you need to be here (Hoobstank) you know what they do to guys like us in prison? (My chemical romance) always on my mind (Silent hill: Shattered memories soundtrack) wine red (the hush sound) given up (linkin Park) fake it (Seether) stupid Mf (mindless self indulgence) while my guitar gently weeps (The Beatles) there's a good reason these tables are numbered honey, you just haven't thought of it yet (panic!st the disco) time and time again (papa roach)make believe (Korn) a beautiful lie (30 seconds to mars) wish I may (breaking Benjamin)

And if you take out all the capital letters you get this:
SHOOFTCHCDKEBPRAECSECMFBDETATBBSSTTAMLSTBBFTMHMSSPSMTBKB

So...nothing...there's probably a deeper patter there but I can't look into it right now... =/
Also, I wans't counting the "I"s in "I'm" "I've" etc. that might have been a mistake...

Also, he just got this:

11301 S.E. Tequesta Terrace, Tequesta, FL 33469

in his mailbox. It may or may not be related.

I believe I suggested taking the capital letters from the songs only (or maybe the bands only?) to see what came up. If you've got time, try doing it both with and without the "i" letters.

Hmmm.

Well here's what I've got so far:
Songs Only:
-With "I"s: SCEBDIIIIIIMI
-Without "I"s: SCEBDM

Bands Only:
With "I"s: HSOOFTCHDKPRAECSECMFBETATBBSSTTAMLSYBBFTIMHMSSPSKB
Without "I"s: HSOOFTCHDKPRAECSECMFBETATBBSSTTAMLSYBBFTMHMSSPSKB

All together:
With "I"s: SHSOOFTCHCDKEBPRAECSECMFBDIETAIIBBSSTTMLSYBBFTIIIMHMSSPSMTBKIB
Without "I"s: SHOOFTCHCDKEBPRAECSECMFBDETATBBSSTTAMLSYBBFTMHMSSPSMTBKB

Well, I'm thoroughly confused.

If you run a reverse address look-up on the address it comes up as some one with the last name Celedinas and they work at the Sandy Pines Hospital (if that helps at all.)

Googled the address, it comes up to a Sandy Pines Institute. Said place is a Mental Institute, might be a clue for later. Poked around a bit in that entry from Seth with the code. He said he'd found a piece of cardboard, this makes me think were missing a piece of his code that could help us solve it. I wonder if they might be waiting to post it up.

I can't believe no one has laughed at the Pedobear picture Seth has included. Or the RuPaul one. Seth has a weird sense of humor!

I've been looking over the posts and I spotted something about a piece of cardboard with windows in it in Seth's post about the letter. I think I remember hearing something about this somewhere where they, like, take windowed "decoders" and put them over pages in a book to reveal certain words that make a message. Maybe someone should tell Seth to try that?

Has anyone seen the video that Darcie posted last night? The last 5 seconds seem interesting. Black screen, but with some more audio... Someone needs to decode it.
