The space character is 00100000 (that's not on the alphabet list... sorry forgot to add that).

This makes me feel like everything about him is IG.

Why would Minker, who has a website that looks like a non-computer savvy person threw it together, post in alphabet binary code? By doing that, what does he accomplish?
Just seems out of character if you ask me. If he even is a "character" in this ARG.

It just seems weird that the code translated perfectly

I'm pretty new to this board, I thought I posted this a few minutes ago but apparently I didn't so sorry if it shows up again.

Eh I'm not convinced that FB is IG. Why wouldn't Josh use his 'hlm1963' email address for it? And he would have been had it.

The email address on his facebook is hlm1963SPLATlive.com. Why didn't he use his yahoo.com address from HLM.com?

It didn't translate "perfectly" the A was an @ and the B was that German letter that means ss.

Minker

If we can assume that the josh casting call for LD is Super 8, and based on the fact that there are similarities between the charachter, notably fishing, then i have a theory.

Possibly this story is from josh the little kid and we are now getting the grown up josh. Who knows but i want clues to come faster.

I still have a big problem with the casting for LITTLE DARLINGS being a cover for SUPER 8, and here's why:

The Hollywood Reporter posted this article on April 14 discussing a wave of young actors being cast for many projects, and they mention specifically:

Quote:
Aiming even younger, Par is hoping to begin shooting a remake of the 1980s coming-of-age pic "Little Darlings" in August. Producer J.J. Abrams is looking to populate the cast with girls under 15.

The earliest stories I saw online thinking the 'unnamed project' casting sheet leaked online was for SUPER 8 were dated May 27/28... that's a full five weeks after THR already reported on the Abrams-produced LITTLE DARLINGS remake.

It was the beginning of June before web articles realized the casting call was confirmed for LITTLE DARLINGS and not SUPER 8. To me, that shows the 'facts' were way far ahead of the 'conspiracy' and enthusiastic fans were seeing a connection where none existed outside of Abrams' name.

I agree that JJ is not above playing games and making up secret identities for his films — many producers/filmmakers play the same game. But would he really convince THR to report a *false* story about casting for SUPER 8 in their publication three months ago?

Covert code names on scripts and casting sheets are one thing, but I don't see industry press willfully planting false information in their issues just to play along with JJ's ARG fun.

Without evidence overturning the believability of these dates and stories, I'm pretty convinced that this casting story is an entirely separate film and OOG entirely, and the name 'Josh' is a coincidence.
