 		Why would he post sketchy info on Facebook? If I was out posting some mysterious stuff it would be on my own blog (insert many ARG's as examles here), not FB. Cloverfield only used MySpace as a way to get to know who the characters are and never posted incredibly useful information on the pages. Plus, Josh Minker only joined FB once we all found out who Josh Minker was. It's not like the CL ads where they were posted in April and we only found out about them 2 months later. I think everyone who believes the FB and YouTube accounts are GJ/OOG should stop trying to prove it's fake and start trying to make some real progress. We're just at a standstill with this debate.

My findings so far
Okay- been spending a few of my life hours on Hook Line and Minker. (by the way, I only joined the game a few days ago, I've been lurking but I figured I better get involved.

-The fish eye looks exactly like the moon crater on poppeteers web site- if you zoom out of the page it becomes exactly the same size too- plus there are two of them- I haven't printed and tried any overlaying of minker/poppeteers them yet- but it's on the list

-The comments are being counted- we're on 78 so far- maybe we need more comments to activate parts of the site, so get commenting and answering Minkers questions- he's asking if anyone has experience of deep sea diving, about the wolffish, etc- so there is lots to react to- and in his posts he says he is knowledgable and may even have answers to questions- so get picking his brains and get that counter up higher.

- there is a blank square below a few pages if you highlight the whole page- probably nothing

- was there ever anything in the blank square in the side bar?

- I figure everyone has picked the items for sale apart to death so I'll leave that for the minute- though I have sent emails asking about the items so we'll see if there are any replies

-I've already sent an email to Minker expressing an interest in fish and his site and I'll keep you updated if I get a reply

-Anyone looked for a Fred in Minkers neck of the woods? He must be somewhere- everyone seems to reckon Minkers Facebook is a GJ, but have you checked his friends for a Fred?

Anyway- I'm still searching, let me know if you grab any answers to my questions (always more questions than answers)

 		Weird spot on the fish's fin from HLM & RP Moon
connection?
I posted this earlier on a different thread, thought I might get a better response on the actual HLM thread:

This may seem a bit far off, but I know both of things: the weird three lines on the right side of the moon on the Rocket Poppeteers website and the weird black and white part of the fish's fin in the background of the HLM website, were mentioned separately, but never together. These two things, in terms of appearance, seem strikingly similar, and I just thought it was interesting.

I only posted that link to IMDb because I was on that page when the post popped up. I thought it was funny (at the time), but when the RocketPoppeteers ad started to print I thought it was very coincidental.

I was banned (from here for a week) for arguing the facts with Unforum mods.
However, I have long since disassociated myself with the unmentionable blog ... AND I have in no-way started any GJs of my own.

 		Okay, someone may have thought of this already, but the time on the clock only correlates with one of times on the calendar. The 23rd. Maybe this has been brought up.


EDIT: It falls into the PM on the 23rd and the AM on the 24th

I really don't give a rats a** who is perpetrating a game jack. As long as we are all able to recognize what is one and avoid it this will work it's self out.

As far as Euchre and the Unfiction mods go.... look at them kind of like the police. Good luck arguing with a cop cause they know more about the law then you do!

Apologies if this has already been mentioned, but if this is in game then are we getting spoilers for a release date?

Now... having looked at the minker site and Rocketpoppers (The Moon/Eye logo) and the calendar on Minker ("Best Times to spot rare fish") but the moon picture matches July 6th and 7th - Dunno if it means anything, probably just a coinkidink
