Hey, I'm following the news on Super 8 for quite some time now, and I registered because I think i might have something to add here. I was looking on Josh's website and in one of his blogs he mentiones The Boston Fisherman. That name was quite.. 'catching' so I searched the interwebz and found a crappy looking website, and i'm the first visitor. Could there be a relation?

Just to follow up on my previous post, I might add that on 7/08 the moon phase should be the same as the RP site moon (according to the HLM calendar). Just sayin

Fish pic

Good find on the fish pic the only part I feel is modified is that top fin area it is WAY too Black and white. The fis is feel is a member of the barb family and is small - Tropical size the red fins are normal as well as the stripes - This is a small fish - look at the sea weed it is in a normal tank and shot close up. but something was done to that dorsal. if you emboss it solarise, invert - All make the Dorsal mod show strong

Why - what does it mean - if anything have no idea

Also tried to see if any text was added too the file nothing noticed.

When you look at the picture of the fish from a distance, it looks like the fish itself exists of two fish, blended together. I mean the head does not fit on the body or something..

Interesting. Not sure what to make of it.

That counter on the bottom of the page is how many people are on the site, not visitor count. Looks extremely OOG to me.

EDITED instead of double posting:

If you google "josh minker" (with the quotes), and include all results, the top result on the third page is the following:

www.braktar.hu/images/media/coelacanth+facts.html

It asked me to install software, so I dodged it. Looks like it might be some kind of phishing (no pun intended) site based on search history, but it seems to have some Minker stuff on there. Anyone able to check it out/verify whether it's real or something bogus? I would appreciate the help.

When I searched for "josh minker" this site did not come up, and it is indeed a fishing site posing as youtube to make you download a false codec pack.

interesting

someone already made a similar point but if you're looking at a moon phase chart and you're interest is fishing then you're probably talking about tides which means oceans. however none of the cities or places mentioned so far are near oceans. Personaly i think josh probably lives in west Virginia like picture on the printout update hinted, but its not coastal.

Don't know if what follows is part of the UFO sites, shroom site, etc., but found this on spokeo.com searching for hlm1963:

9 i.mx.mail.yahoo.com 74.6.140.64
10 j.mx.mail.yahoo.com 66.94.237.64

I dropped out of geek 101 due to mono, so I don't have a clue what the list of 10 indicate?

The page says more info available...

for a price

Anyone who is a member might want to check out the numerous social sites lited on the above site.

My social site, hermits 'r' us is not listed, however.

@Xeno

The MX records are Mail eXchanger records which are used to "tell" mail which server it should be sent to for a particular domain. I wouldn't give the Spokeo route any thought as hlm1963 could be pulled from a lot of places across the web. Nice looking out though!!

I wonder what Josh would pay or trade for a coelacanth?

If only I had one...

I noticed nobody has posted a comment on his Coelacanth Journal as of yet so I took the liberties of leaving a comment under May 9th. Guess we will wait and see if I get a response. I know, I know...... it's a bit corny but I couldn't think of anything else to say.

We can't read it, he's got his comments set to be moderated first.

Actually the head also looks shopped onto there. It seems to be in black and white like the fin bit is.
