Are you OFFERING help? All assistance gratefully depreciated!

Being I'm probably as wacky and mildly insane as you might think... don't know if my help would be useful! LOL But if you mean help in causing random chaos and general uselessness while having a heck of a good time... then I am SO There!

Stooger 8 (OFF TOP)

Tenshi;

You said:

Come on in, the water's fine.

Tromatic, et al. All together now:
"fish, fish, fish!"

And thanks for the link. I had heard that Penn had been involved and then walked. Now he's about the size of Larry, but Benicio Del Toro as Moe?
Facial features are similar, but he's what 6'2! Only about a foot taller than the stooges were! Maybe trick photography!

Very cool!

Who can you morph onto Godzilla's body? Groucho, W. C. Fields, Jerry Lewis?

What would be literally horrible would be...

"Besserzilla"

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Let's have/decypher more clues....

Pretty please?

Need a second set of eyes on a site....

Been reading too extensively again Shocked , so hopefully no boomerang trouts.

Did some more digging around (not even sure how I stumbled upon this one) and found this site which struck me as odd.

http://the-dover-demon.com/ .

It's an amateurish site, it uses word press for the site assembly and some of the same code the HLM uses, however, very popular methods to build sites though, but noteworthy.

Now the interesting part.....There are only three links on the page. one for a ghost town, one for the dover demon (alien?) and the last link is for the Coelacanth. Just seemed odd to me to have those links but could possibly have a connection.......slight as it might seem.

I'm trying not to start going in the left field to far with this, but being new to this viral stuff, maybe some of the veterans can lend a hand, maybe some feedback...

Thanks

Exactly what phrase did you type into google and search under images?
"Eric Schuran +fish"
or
"Schuran Jetstream"

I typed both phrases into google and can't find the image you posted.
What page was that on?

This seems to happen with more than a few of Ras's posts.

Ras, you posted:
Quote:
I looked up "Schuran Jetstream" ... It's real. (Prob OOG)

If you're declaring it out of game WHEN you post it, exactly what are we supposed to do with the information you bring? More importantly, why do you bring it up if you know it's not relevant to the game?

There will be tons of non-ARG coincidences to be Googled out there, let's please not post them all here just to fill time (and forum pages). A little discretion goes a long way.

Are you kidding me?!
If we all stopped posting what we find (or find misleading) it would make this game all the more complicated.

I declared the "Site" OOG not the Schuran Jetstream entirely.
My point is, Eric Schuran may have "picked" his name to lead us to the fact that Minker owns a SALT WATER TANK. (Should have been obvious by the fact he likes "exotic/rare" fish and most of those are to be found in Salt Water oceans).

Therefore, any further searches into Josh's fish tank would knock out about 75% of tanks on the market.
Also, the "Device" may just be a tank's filter?
"I think something may have reactivated"
The Schuran Jetstream *is* a calcium "reactor".
"... anybody run a schuran jetstream calcium reactor??"

As far as the search for the pen pic I posted ... I still say that may put a date to the STIES desk photo as the pen has not been on the market for eight years (2002-the very same copyright date on the STIES site).

As for the "search" function ... I see what you mean.
On my work computer, I only got pictures from reefcentral.com
(If anyone is a member there, they can do a search and see if Josh is also a member.)
On my home computer, I get many more pictures.
I think I may have just typed: "jetstream +fish"
(Both the calcium reactor and many pictures of pens pop up.)

Here's a link to the pic I had found:
http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x157/99ssenkrad/DSC00261.jpg
This picture was posted in 2007 ... As you can see by the clearance tags, the pen had been bought after it had been discontinued.

I do NOT post random OOG items just to "junk up the forum."
a) Josh is looking for the coelacanth. Why would he want a "dead" one? He must have a tank waiting, which in turn would be "Salt Water" and most likely using the Schuran Jetstream Calcium Reactor.
b) Jetstream is also a type of pen. While that item may or may not be a pen ... If it is, then I say the picture could be "dated" circa 2002.

As for this forum (and I'm not cutting it up), I do, however, see a LOT of random/nonsensical posts wherein not much has moved this gameplay forward in any way.
I read ALL previous posts; keep my discussion ON topic; use the "search" function when needed; and THINK before I post.

Blog posters as IG

I doubt that for the good of the ARG, the PM would put IG characters through the players posts. This would leads to believe that anyone playing the game could be considered as a potential character. Eric Shuran is almost certainly a guy who is just interested either in rare fish or in the arg and that like many people uses is real name as an avatar.

Wow, been a while since I've been here to read up on some news.

What came as a shock was seeing my name being discussed in the threads. I feel like some sort of pseudo-celebrity. I can assure you though, I am Eric Schuran and I am in fact not involved in the game, so you can scratch me off, lol.

I posted to a couple of Josh's posts, the one on Youtube, and one on his site (not sure if it has even popped up yet, but it was a while ago). I simply asked about his fish because I was trying to pull a response or get some more info in relation to this game.

It is interesting how my name came up with a jetstream ... pretty cool coincidence. I've googled my name and have never seen that before.

And yes, I do make music. Just a regular guy unfortunately though Embarassed

Hope this clears any confusion so nobody looks further into it and wastes their time. Very cool to see my name become a hot topic though. I have to check this site more regularly, lol.

-Eric

Thanks Eric, we were hoping you would pop back in. Hopefully this will settle it for a certain someone? To be honest I am very surprised that you weren't linked to the expcnv audio file as well seeing how you are involved in music.

Regarding the England connection and UFOs, if you put ANY area <blob> + <ufo> into google, you are 99% likely to get a hit

Example of some fine English "spots":
http://worldufos.blogspot.com/2010/06/ufo-seen-rising-off-ground-at-oakham.html
http://www.ufodigest.com/news/0507/3reports.html
http://www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/news/4017591.Friends_stunned_by_Bradford_UFO/

I thought the point with fish and lunar cycles was more related to reproductive cycles etc., rather than tide per se thereby making it more likely spot/catch them... Does anyone actually know how they calculate the fishing charts??? (not a fisherman clearly)

....More clues clearly needed; fingers crossed for 21st....
