 		Also, its Mysterioso that has to initiate the chat since he is the host of the chat site.. So, it will have to be his cue that announces the next chat, not Josh's..

Since Josh knows that the Mystic Dude used his blog for chat time and password last time, its logical to assume that unless he posts otherwise, this will again be the vehiocle by which he alerts Josh to tune in the chatsite again..
As I said earlier, I think that posting the NOVEMBER 24TH in caps might be a signal from Josh that he has looked in the cannister as ordered and is ready to reveal his findings...
Hopefully, when Josh says we will get more frequent updates when the big fish arrives in early December, this means that the game will talke off and be done with this once a month clue thingy..we'll see.. IMHO as always..

 		Yep, I agree with all these ideas because just about anything is possible. And if it is possible for Josh to use HLM to signal that he found something, it is also possible for him to use HLM to signal a concern about a chat time. Not saying that he did - just saying it's possible. It's possible Josh is a freakin' genius super spy who is playing it smart by playing it dumb.

Oh well, ixnay the chat at noon today idea...

So maybe there's some sly, low target under trees on Gun Cay in Jamaica. Maybe it's a cave-dwelling trogl. This could be Josh's "coelacanth" that he's closing in on. Maybe Josh knows more than he appears to let on and is using HLM to send some kind of messages to someone other than Mysterio. Yes he has given up some info to Mysterio, but not the info Mysterio wants. Maybe Josh is holding back on him – pretending to be clueless in order to draw more info from Mysterio like the badges.

Or maybe not.
(It has been kind of quiet around here and until we're given more conclusive information, I'm open to anything.)

If Mysterio was the one that uploaded the images of the badges on STIES (including the "blank" image), what was the intent?

If it was to show/prove something to Josh, what would that be?

It's been postulated that possibly "Image ID 23-MHC-2BR" is the badge of Josh Minker's father, the "M" standing for Minker. Could be, and while Josh admits not knowing his father when he was growing up, unless his mother was VERY unusual, she no doubt told Josh as much as she could, or perhaps felt was safe or prudent. I can see her withholding information that would perhaps be disheartening to Josh. (I mean, here she's apparently raising her child/ren by herself—though it's possible she remarried, it's doubtful based upon the funeral/memorial card—and not having a father growing up is stressful enough, why add to the emotional confusion/distress that that entails by revealing facts that would do such?)

Either Mysterio knows that Josh's father worked possibly for the gov't (and the Air Force in particular), or he's revealing something that is new to Josh, but why? Could it be that Mysterio has surmised that Josh may be holding back info, and the images of the badges is like an "Ah ha" moment, i.e. "You think you knew all about your father, well did you know this?" perhaps hoping that this will prompt Josh to spill any info that Mysterio is seeking?

And there is certainly the possibility that Josh is of mixed ethnicity, and his father may be the gentleman that had "TROGL" penned on the badge. Josh could most likely recognize the partial photo as being that of his father.

But why would Mysterio upload 5 images, one apparently blank? What would that tell Josh? Did his mother possess a group photo of a number of men, one of them she told him was his father?

Or are the badges just another of the numerous "wait, and wait, and wait, and see" clues that some day will (or won't) make sense.

And I think the acronym you came up with, simplicityjones, seems likely, but like everything else, we'll just have to hurry up and wait, and wait...

regarding the badges......thinking...again......

if you can't find a related connection for a given hint - you can find the solution in the hint itself...... Very Happy

and if this viral goes on like this

we will all lurk ourselves 2 death

either we miss something really important all the time or this viral just sucks and we expect way to much out of this after the glorious clovertimes

 		if rocketpoppeteers is the key and no one is finding the answer could they possibly change the site to make it easier?

That being said. I sent in my completed maze weeks ago and still have not heard anything. It may be that because this movie is 7 months away that this might not ramp up for another couple months and all this hooklineminker.com and pdp-11 stuff is just to set the groundwork.

As far as receiving anything from RP Headquarters in the way of "the Letter" you may be disappointed.

My roomie rec'd "the letter" from RP HQ with a postmark of August 12. Two other of my roomies sent in their coupon after that and have heard anything. (I've asked on the board if anyone has rec'd "the letter" with a postmark after that date and have not seen any replies.)

I would sign up on the RP site with a different name than you used to send to RP so that you'll be on the list.

Well if we are missing something with the Rp site why hasn't someone given us a hint?

There are obviously button we can hit to make noise, switches we can flip. There is a grid that is 4 or 5 x 7 or 9 that we can make thelights light up. There appears to be no given pattern for the lights, dials switches or sound effects.

If the RP site is part of this it just has not made itself obvious. Even the morse code in the background makes no sense.

This game is just lagging and missing a lot of dynamic interaction from the creators. And I too have mailed in the maze and form to Rp and also have answered the email with 20 questions. It's like RP has fallen off the end of the earth.

It promises a 3-part series available this winter.

How soon this winter -- who knows? Winter in US begins December 21.

Will it tie in to HLM and sties?
