This is just getting stranger and stranger. I have no idea where this is going...

My counter is stuck at all 1's, but nothing has changed on the site.

The sites linked at Goldstork, through their vaults, seem very much real. There is a link to http://www.muchloved.com/g_home.aspx which is an online bereavement site, with active discussions and real memorials.

I've done a WHOIS on muchloved and the domain owners don't match up with those of the mangolab, stumbledupon, or goldstork.

Another interesting note is that goldstork seems to have the same connections mangolab does. In goldstork's vaults, they have links to FISA, some sort of dice game... in mangolab's help center, they have a link to FISA as well. The same can be said for some sort of comedy podcast, Mangolounge- both sites link to it. And these websites all seem very realistic and legitimate.

I'm about to WHOIS mangolounge and FISA, but I don't think they'll be very revealing.

I'm taking a shot in the dark with this, but I think those sites (fisa, mangolounge, muchloved) are real, and the PM (if there even is one) has just incorporated them into it to make it more confusing and red herring filled then it already is...

All right, working on the counter again.

Clearing my cache and refreshing the page has started it again, with random numbers.

I opened in one tab http://www.goldstork.com/backdoor.htm
and in another tab, I opened http://www.mangolab.com/index.htm?ind_main.htm

I then went back to the counter and lo and behold: all 1's.

So I think it's safe to say, after interpreting the text "...to work out where, then... When the time is right...and when the shifting sands, in part, align the tumblers then start...to seek the message." It means finding where will align the tumblers, and then you need to seek out the message there.

I think, anyway...if that was all that was needed to align the counter, then what was all the '= dd:mm:yy = hh:mm:ss' about? Am I on the wrong track?

And with all the limitless links in both mangolabs and goldstork, where in god's name is this message?

The javascript is changed for sure, but i'm not sure that now it can do anything...

The part that is changed for sure is a new function:
Code:

function  (){
   if ( IsTumblersAligned() ){
      var Anagram = document.getElementById( "anagram" );

      Anagram.innerHTML = "Right time, wrong place. Half marks... try harder, solve the anagram, and get that A...";
   }
}

Here the
Code:
var Anagram = document.getElementById( "anagram" );

I think that we have to see something like a div named "anagram" in the html but nothing...

I'm totally noob with js but from what i know i think that i have to see something like a div named anagram or something like that but nothing...

On more the function IsTumblersAligned(), that is the one that chacks the combination, is called just one time from the function ShowHelpWithAnagramsExtraA()

so i think that we are always on a dead end...

Anagram! What's the anagram we've seen before? The anagram on the from page!

www.mangolab.com

Now we just need to go there at the right time...

UNFORTUNATELY, that right time, where all the tumblers align naturally, is going to be october 10.

Unless mangolab.com also responds to your computer clock.

you mean the anagram inside the gif?
that can't be because we need to see somenthing in the source html with literally the word "anagram"...the id of a div or something like that...

The "anagram" element will simply update to read "Right time, wrong place. Half marks... try harder, solve the anagram, and get that A..."

so where's the anagram to solve? When he says "use a bit of virtue to figure out where..." it links to the index, the same place as an anagram. Coincidence? I think not.

Notice that it says "when the shifting sands, in part align the tumblers then start.

And also Leina, I tried opening multiple tabs but it didn't do anything to my counter.

The anagram is right in front of your face as mentioned earlier in the thread:

"A.G. Lamb Monaco www."

which anagrams to www.mangolab.com and leaves an extra a.

I've tried to add an a at the end of the url, but no dice.

EDIT: Also tried it as a subdirectory, but nothing.

So where does that leave us? The right place is obviously mangolab...the right time is when the tumblers naturally align?

So when does the counter align, then? October 10th, as stated earlier?

@Adam- strange... so what does all 1's mean? Maybe I'm off about something.

All right, I'm messing with the counter again, and this time I have
http://www.mangolab.com/index.htm?ind_main.htm open, and I then open
http://www.stumbledupon.com/goldstork.htm and I have all 1's.

I know it hasn't worked for anyone else yet, but I seriously think this is the next step... it matches up with all of the 'anagram' stuff and the message given with the counter.

That a is definitely of significance. I just don't know where to put it. I'm also using both uppercase and lowercase a's just in case.

I have gotten no farther than where I was previously. Ugh.

Tried this, and it's going to all ones whenever you link to it in a certain way - the code just breaks.

And the page is not yet finished - the anagram element isn't present, and all signs indicate under construction, as the code has been steadily updated to do more.

When you do get all the tumblers to line up, it does try to put that hint there... but fails. But we know the hint anyways, so it's somewhat moot.

2 thoughts. First, any ideas on that anagram? The hint means that isn't just an accidental extra A... second, what do we do if this turns out to be a work in progress, with the code still unfinished,not meant to be "stumbled upon" quite yet?

Short-time lurker, first-time poster, blah blah.

I hate anagrams, but has anyone considered the possible connection with bags? Lots of links to various kind of bags at the main stumbledupon page, and an anagram of "mangolab" (or "a mangolab" if you want to include the extra A) could easily include the word "bag"...
