BUMP

So, I've been working on this for a couple weeks with a few friends. We are exactly where you all are, and have figured out mostly the same stuff. Anyone find anything new? All we've figured out beyond what you have is that the last quote is fake, and A. G Lamb is not a real person. Goldstork, too, seems to be a fake website, as it is largely non-functional.

So here are some specific problems we have:
Why is Monaco in parentheses for a couple seconds?
What the hell is the gaylad page, and can we feasibly break the login without a username?
Why polythene bags?
The creator of all this says "get" that extra A, does that imply earn? Like a letter grade?

Anyway, let's figure this out.

Ask for help

I asked for help on one of the mango lab sites for plastic bags. This is the answer I got by email:

Dear Dominique
I am replying to confirm that your request has been received and that Brenda Hedges will get in contact with you.
If at any time you want to contact her direct you can email brenda.hedgesSPLATpolybags.co.uk or call her on 020 8575 8200.

Polybags specialises in polythene and other film products and we trust that you will find our service helpful and quick as well as providing you with the products you require at a competitive price.

Thanks again for your enquiry and we hope that we can become your supplier,
Regards

The Polybags Sales Team
www.polybags.co.uk

I also got another email from her asking for my phone number so she can contact me.

Has anybody else tried to get information this way?

This tells me that this guy found out with the date change. The see you on the other side suggests he cannot tell anymore.

Any ideas?

The 111's make a difference on mangolab

Hi, I opened Chrome and managed to get the 1'S showing on stumbledupon.com/glodstork.hmt
I went to Mangolab.com, and here there was that strange "hello false,":

Then I opened iexplorer, and went directly to mangolab.com. Here is what you get:

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Any ideas?

if...then...goto

Hey,

Some have already pointed this out. But here's what I found:
On Mangolab.com home page, there is that if then goto gif. If you leave your mouse over, it says "if...then...goto... the only bit of code you need to know".

On the page with the tumblers, I was looking for a "if then goto" somewhere. The only place i found it was the "if" in shifting, the "then" before the ..., and I didn't find the goto right away.
Then I looked at the page address: GOldsTOrk.htm.

I don't know where to go from there, but I hope this helps!.

Also, I am using explorer9, and I can't get the tumblers to stop at all 1's. I use to get them easily with Chrome, but there was no systematic procedure that worked. Can someone sum up the procedure please?

No one's been able to figure out when and why they stop at 1, or if it even causes anything for sure. We need someone on this team who knows jscript like the back of their hand!

all 1's

In my opinion, the all 1's is a bug, not meant to happen. When you refresh the page, you see for a second all 1's, then the counter starts turning. So, when you get all 1's, it's because the "thing" doesn't initialize right. I hope this is clear...

Anyways.. I think the next step is to look for "shifting sands" in any of the related webpages. I found a picture named "tumbler.jpg" on mangolab.com. Or, figure out a way to change your clock and system date to +500 years... this I haven't found.

All 1's....

Hi again,

Well, I've just found out that whenever you set your system clock/date so that the last digits are all 1's, or 2's, the tumblers stop right there (all 1s or 2s). Haven't tried other numbers. (Using iexplore9). You have to set your time zone to UTC for the tumblers to recognize your clock properly.
So perhaps this ain't a bug. But what do we have to do next?

Mr. Daniels

Ok, so I've emailed Mr. Daniels a couple times. Definitely, to solve the "tumbler" thing, we need to look somewhere at the right time. His words: "It's important when and where to look".

Mr. Daniels is the "owner" of stumbledupon.com and some other sites. You don't need to know his name to contact him.

Tharol: What are you saying?
