Still not sure what I think about all of the \ and .'s

I keep hoping it's a code, but I'm not sure what we can do with it. Unless it's some sort of IP address? At the same time, we are being lead back to the building.

I'm guessing no one lives near the town eh?

I have been lurking this from the start and I wanted to add something that probably doesn't mean anything, but thought I would throw it out there. It is in regards to the "flower" pics.

I don't think they are flowers like most people would consider them. I believe they are something along the lines of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Echeveria_elegans or http://www.greenroofplants.com/Catalogweb/Sedum_pachyclados.htm

Again, not sure how much this matters.

I've split the code in two parts, you can clearly see it's just numbers and rows in the first part:

If you look at the "\"s, it goes in the most natural progression; 2, 3, 4, 5
Same goes with the dots (1, 2, 3, 4), the "/"s (1, 2, 3) and the commas (1, 2, 3). So, it's not an accident, it should probably mean something.

\\/.//,\ \\\\\

The second part is a bit awkward. if you look at it it could translate to
"2112115", However, grouping it (by the order of appearance) yields in "\\\\\\\\ . /// ," giving us "8131". Could these be some coordinates, or an address?

What I believe is that the first part is probably the key on solving the second one. We should play more with these dots and dashes, it's definitely not Morse, but it's something.

I sent an email to Matt asking him if everythings alright. See his answer below, he has been busy. He wants to to go up in the attic this week and thinks about going inside some of the buildings in belcher town state. Note the /. sign at the end of his mail, but I don't know if this is important.

Please don't go there on your own, make sure to take a friend with you since this seems dangerous. In addition, if something strange happens, you would also have a wittness and the police would more likely believe you.

You also spoke about the psychosurgeon who lived in the house, do you think you could find out his name, where he worked, what he exactly did etc.? Maybe he has soemthing to do with Belchertown State and the horrible conditions for patients there?

Someone I know who is also following your blog (Tenshi) told me about a chat conversation you had, and that he received similar signs to them in your post from th 24th July

Does this seem familiar to you or do you have any clue what this could mean?

I think you already know where the coordinates are that were communicated in the chat, it is a building at belchertown state. Could this be some coded help call? Maybe it makes sense to go there again and go into the building?

Nothing worth mentioning has happened the last few days so I haven't posted anything. I've been pretty busy as well, haven't been home much. This week, me and a friend are going up into the attic with the camera. I can try to find some more information on the doctor, i'll see what i can do.

As for the instant message conversation. I don't know what to make of those symbols. Seems like a bunch of nonsense. Maybe there's something wrong with kmy laptop? Also, I've been thinking about going inside some of the buildings. Might do that soon/.

Is it possible that these slashes are some kind of messages from the "future" Matt since there is some time bending around? I mean, we have this normal, everyday Matt, writing in a normal fashion, and then the "time-twisted" Matt who is somehow trying to force his way via electronics and writing what seems to be gibberish but actually has sense, and he's trying to tell us something? Or is it the Doctor, trying to manipulate through his posts?

So the options we have are
1) messages from the future
2) some warped experiment the doctor left in the house
4) Matt is insane

Heck 1 and 2 could be the same thing for all we know.
