Well looks like things may be picking up... but I hate having to wait 3 days to learn something! lol patience is a virtue but sometimes in ARG's it's a pain.

I'm going back throught the uploaded vids again and I noticed a few things.

I the very first "attic" tape, it looks like someone is purposely putting "breaks" into the film. You can clearly see them cover it with the lens cap and then as the breaks occur, it looks like the same thing. The only thing that was added that I can tell is the grouping of succulents. In some cases of paranormal activity, imprinting such as this could occur. Also, it looks like someone tried to make it look as if someone was"cut down" from the ropes later in the film. That is why it moves the way it does I believe. Those rope pulleys/ system can be used to assist in the butchering and/or skinning of livestock. We had something similar on our farm.

The first video that he films going to the attic there had been mention about his front door being open when it was dark. Yes he clearly goes up in the day, but his door was wide open then as well. That is how it is established that it is daytime. So nothing occured physically in the home to the door or his belongings. There is also the disembodied voice. This supports the issue of some sort of warp/trap/bubble in this instance of being only in the attic area. Unless we start getting some "roving" footage where the time bubble moves throughout the house. There could be this issue because there is some sort of temporal break in the area due to the usage of electricity in the Dr's experiments.

I kinda wondered about the ropes but knowing what they could be just makes them even creepier.

LoL then you will love knowing that after the season we would make remnant swings out of the rope and 2 by 4s. I might fish around for a picture, I don't think I have any though...

Edit: It's a bit sad Matt didn't take any of our suggestions to heart (dog, secure attic door, web cam, friend).

yea, but alot of people psych themselves out. "I can do this on my own" thing is pretty par for the course

The only reason I could think that he didn't use our suggestions is because of Original Reality interfering with the Alternate Reality.

Was off visiting the boyfriend for a week and a half and come back to all sorts of trouble Hopefully Matt will upload the footage today or tomorrow. And dear Lord, I hope it starts to address some of our questions instead of piling new ones on top of it lol. As for the e-mails sent to Matt that turned into dashes, I'm really hoping we can make heads or tails of it sometime soon. I might try my very inexperienced hand at it later today.

Do you guys think he'll even be up for going back to Belchertown? A lot of it sorta depends on what we see in the footage, but I feel like the house obviously wants him to go there, so he probably should at some point.

EDIT: And sorry, but I'm still not convinced of this whole time warp theory. It just seems way too flimsy for me to consider it over supernatural reasons or the "crazy psychosurgeon" lol. It will be interesting to see if any of Matt's messages to us are still filled with dashes and periods and commas now that he's out of the house. If it is, then maaaaybe I'll start to consider it haha.
