Fair enough - try blocking the attic entrance somehow, then call the cops. I'm a fairly tall and heavy dude and I could almost certainly tackle someone of, say, Matt's skinny stature, unless he's really well trained. Also, I wouldn't really have to worry about guns etc here, which may be a much bigger concern in the US - probably not rural Mass though.

Anyway, still no reply from Matt. This is aggravating; I wanna work on solving this but it seems like there isn't really any way to go about it...

 		Minor blog update from Matt. Also he replied to my email (no real info in it, except he says he might check local library etc), and he did say "lo" or "1o" to me after I added him to my messenger, unfortunately I wasn't around and only saw it when I got back.

 		Patience, young Padawan. I'm betting it's a one- or two-man project, which can be hard to balance work/school with all the stuff he might have to do for this (gathering video, editing said video, etc.) I highly doubt it'll go dead right now after all the work that's been put in thus far.
Plus, the last update was only 4 days ago. Really not that long.

The last meaningful update was longer. Still, I tend to agree. And yes I'd hate for this tof ade as well.

I've added matt on yahoo messenger and he added me yesterday, haven't really seen him online but it means he is still "around".

 		I thought EverymanHYBRID (Marble Hornets sub-forum) was about to die, then out of nowhere they simultaneously took things in a way darker/more in-your-face direction and started posting updates every 2 days. I'm not as optimistic with Attic Tapes since it seems to be just the one dude instead of 5+ people keeping each other motivated, but I hope Matt can keep going. We're still very early in the story, and every entry has only raised more questions without answering anything. Hopefully soon we get a concrete clue instead of more rabbit holes to go down.

maybe the whole "time warp" thing is just a scapegoat for the PM not posting within the time he allotted himself? lol jk

And yes, I know that it's probably not dead.
MH would go weeks between posts at times.

 		Breaking the 4th Wall Here.
Sorry for the delays everybody.
Hey everyone, so I am the PM for the Attic Tapes. This started off as a one man ARG and about halfway through it became a two man led ARG. We want to apologize for the lapses between updates and any seemingly unsolvable puzzles.

First off we want to thank you all for your interest in the story. We were surprised when this started to get more popular. So here comes the not so good news, the school year really snuck up on us quicker than we thought it would. The plan was always to end the story temporarily at a really interesting point just before we both left for school. Unfortunately, due to scheduling conflicts and the like, during the last few weeks of the summer we were not able to get all necessary filming done for our last five or six updates. So unfortunately, where the story is now, is where it's going to stop at the moment. I know it's not a good place for a hiatus or anything, I know the most recent updates have brought up more questions than answers. But, it's all part of the bigger picture. We have the entire story written out. So I can promise you guys that nothing is being made up as it goes along. All of the seemingly obtuse puzzles or events do have answers. Everything in the story so far has happened for a reason. Like I said, the entire story is written. I really did not want to end this on a not so exciting note for you guys. So, for that I apologize greatly.

But do not worry. The Attic Tapes will be back. As of right now, I can tell you that the story will resume during winter break. I know that is only about a month before we leave again for school but, I can promise you that during that month the updates will be frequent and they will be substantial. You'll get answers. I promise. And after that we'll pick back up as soon as school lets out.

Thanks to everyone for hanging in there with us, it's been a bit bumpy but I can assure you that from here on out when the story is continued, it will be more satisfying.

So, as I feel like owe you guys a bit, for not having the hiatus happen at the most ideal point. We can open the thread up to a Q&A if you like. I won't give away major plot points but, I can confirm which theories are on track and which are not, because there are a lot of conflicting theories here, and also answer any of your more general questions.

So thanks again guys, and ask away!

Hehe, no worries. The "uh..huh." was my way of not yelling, "Oh my Gods why did you do that?! What is wrong with you!" After already having a fair share of jumps from GreatBigJerk. Laughing
