 		New guy here.

I don't suppose there are any Boy Scouts/Sailors around that can identify that knot from Attic Tape 1? The one featured prominently from 1:00 to about 1:18? What is it used for? And what is it attached to, anyway?

Almost looks like a bowline knot, but the loop in the middle kinda muddles up that theory. I'm not sure.

Okay, here's something very, very, interesting, which gives support to the time warp hypothesis:

I had asked him to compare times from a watch or his cellular with another watch. He didn't quite do that (yet, I hope) but he said:

He did mention that it was "way later" in http://mattzesiger.blogspot.com/2010/07/questions.html but this email seems to confirm that he really did get out of the attic THREE HOURS after he entered it, while never turning off the camera. Since there is not three hours of material in the video, and if we can assume that Matt is telling the truth, then something weird did indeed happen.

 		Finally had a chance to catch up some. Have to say I totally agree with the time warp thing.

Also took a moment to drop him an email, basically establishing contact saying I thought the hello sounded like him lol no creativity on my part... too late for my brain to be working on anything interesting to ask.
