I have a theory about the postcards themselves in respect to which regions get which. The Wast coast and international get Vice Squad and Arc Warrior. East Coast gets Astro Gunner and Kraz-Bot. I'm in MD and those are the two I got. I believe only those four are in circulation.

I see "CLU" in there as well. I have been trying different word combos that include "CLU......SECTOR" as URLs. There may even be a dash ( - ) before the S, like this "CLU.....-SECTOR".

No luck so far, but I am still trying...

I'm in Florida and I got all four of them. (Myself, my two brothers and a friend who isn't allowed to give out her address on the internet).

Most likely, they're just giving them out randomly.

If it is a word, the first one could be ENCOM. The next one I'm not so sure of. The last one looks like SECTOR to me

my coworker had the idea to mirror it over top of itself; that revealed a bit more in the way of characters. I'm not sure if it'll work but i thought i would at least try and throw my 2 cents in

Just like to say

I go do work for a couple of days, and it becomes a trout fest as everyone hops on.

Seriously, we need to stop duplicating work. I saw at least 4 different attempts to do what I did on like page 4 of this thread. Sure, 10 out of 10 for eagerness, but minus several million for practicality.

Anyway, to sum up, it looks like there's one of two things going on here:

1) There isn't enough data yet to make out what letters the cards spell, so we're awaiting a second round of cards

2) Overlaying the dots is a dead end, and we haven't figured out the code

Anyone care to split into a group trying to enumerate and tackle what codes we can/have tried for 2?

Maybe 6-Bit (BCD) Punch Card Codes?

As suggested in a much earlier post, I am also looking into the dots/pixels as holes in a 6-bit (BCD) punch card.

I am using this as a reference, but still trying to figure it out:

Gotta be more cards

I highly doubt that 42 is using rare, barely documented punch card data for codes.

I bet ya that around the next few weeks (especially around Comic Con) we'll see more cards being sent out to help us out with the puzzle.

Besides, the reveal for this puzzle is likely going to be a new trailer. Disney wouldn't want us to figure out the puzzle until after the Comic Con panel.
