So... I'm house sitting for a few days. And I hate to backtrack but I missed some stuff...
And I was hoping someone could shoot me the link to post(s) about these letters we're supposed to be finding, please?

Received my wife & I's post cards in the Post today. We're in Western Wisconsin and got the Vice Squad & Kraz-Bot cards! They are postmarked Jun 29th. The dots in the grid look to be in the same positions as I can see in previous pictures (So at least the cards aren't 'saying' different things!).

Little something on one of the sides? Got that on mine too.

I like the idea of it being \a redirect to the new encom address.

Anyone think to stack the cards on top of eachother in order of game release date, or tile them horizontally from oldest (left) to newest (right)?

I highly doubt that 42 is using rare, barely documented punch card data for codes.

I bet ya that around the next few weeks (especially around Comic Con) we'll see more cards being sent out to help us out with the puzzle.

Besides, the reveal for this puzzle is likely going to be a new trailer. Disney wouldn't want us to figure out the puzzle until after the Comic Con panel.

Til then, I'm rezzing outta here.

Yeah, I was thinking this earlier. I have a feeling this initial set of 4 cards is just to keep the hype train going, and then there will either be a new batch mailed out around SDCC or there will be a SDCC-exclusive card so that attendees will be the key to completing the puzzle. Just my two cents.

I stacked them all on top of each other and they turned into a boat! And not just any old boat either, but a Solar Sailor!!!
On the game grid now and will send another transmission from the I/O tower after I defeat the MCP... Wish me luck, people!!!

Could also be that when the FL site starts back up that will provide the last clue needed to make this work. However i do like the idea of the hype-restart.

Just that black strip bugs me. Why would it be put there if it's meaningless. Do not like the idea of SDCC exclusive cards that are necessary to complete the puzzle, but it would make sense. Give people that can attend something special (probably either space paranoids or Tron cards) and that helps unlock stuff for all of us.

Has anyone...other than me...not gotten theirs yet? :: pout ::

That would kinda back the theory of a second round of cards going out....

I'm still waiting for my postcard too (I'm in the middle of the country).

I think the idea that there could be a second (or maybe even third) wave of Encom game postcards has a lot of weight. The Encom International site lists 9 other games outside of the 4 just mailed, plenty of choices for a second wave.

This doesn't seem to make sense. Every other puzzle has been solved rather quickly. These haven't been rocket surgery up to now.

So there's either one of two options:

1) We're not supposed to do anything with them yet.

2) We're missing something absurdly obvious.

By the way, does *everyone* around here own a black light? Very Happy

It's really hit or miss at this point. So either there's more to come to finish the puzzle, or we're just missing something very very obvious.

To follow up on the magnetic stripe theory. I think the card would have to be plastic, otherwise the data on it would probably get wiped. Magnets apparently wipe the data off some magnetic stripe cards.

So yeh I don't think swiping it through a magnetic stripe reader is gonna do much.

Not so. Here in New York, we have single-ride metrocards which are printed on paper, including the strip.
