Alright. I'm going to go ahead and chime in here. I'm fully of the opinion that we don't have all we need to solve whatever this is, at the moment. Some interesting stuff happened in the 48 pages or so of this thread, but we've really gotten nowhere. To me, that's a sure sign that we just need to take a break on it and wait for further direction.

Generally (especially with a campaign of this size), puzzles aren't filled with references to obscure codes like some of the ones brought up here. It's usually something a bit less esoteric, yet still challenging. When the time comes, we'll be able to figure out a logical solution. Right now, we don't have all the pieces and are grasping at straws.

My recommendation: Stop fretting. Go hang out in IRC! There's rarely anyone talking in the #flynnlives channel. Voice your crazy spec there. Laughing

Like I said, I live in San Diego, and I also happen to know a guy that knows a guy... Wink

If true that's quite a scoop! Hope they do their thing on Thursday.

Yeah, their panel is on Thursday morning at 11:15-12:45 in Hall H. So I'm assuming like last year they'll start the Flynn's arcade thing Friday night and end it Sunday. Disney has that building again, I can only assume they'll put Flynn's arcade back in it.

Last year, the Disney 3D panel was Thursday morning at SDCCI and the Flynn Lives stuff started Friday I believe, or at least that was when they unveiled the arcade. Correct me if I'm wrong on last year as I found out about the FL event late.

We might just have to show up with our postcards there!

do you have an address or can you describe the location. i'm from SD and know the area well, but discovered FL about a week after SDCC last year.

distance does not matter with the cards

Just to add a bit more weight to some of the discussions going on here, distance does not matter with the cards. I'm in Central Queensland, Australia, getting close to the other side of the planet from the US.

My card just arrived yesterday and it was AstroGunner, with what appears to be the same dot patterns as recorded here by others. I'll confirm it later today though.

Every other puzzle in this ARG has been self-solveable, so I must agree with the latest posters in that what we have, must be a stand-alone clue. I'm willing to bet that it will have something to do with whatever is planned for San Deigo. Which is annoying for those of us on the other side of the planet Smile

Here's my Vice Squad bar, cropped to just the bar itself. It should be large enough to manipulate. Sorry, I don't have a black light, so someone with Photoshop sk1lLz can do their color/contrast/invert tricks to make them brighter. They can be seen under normal conditions, just not very well.

hey guys, been following the game for a while now but haven't posted. I was wondering if the schematics on that coin op interview and the dots on the cards could possibly line up and spell something? just throwing that out there.

Can you be a bit more specific? I think I saw the interview that you mention, but nothing schematic-like.

There's a schematic at the bottom of the page. Most likely bogus as other people have pointed out holes in the blog of this particular author, but that's what tokiwar1 is talking about.

zooming in on my phone and holding it at a distance it looks like it says something. Also looks like it's only half (or part 1) of a circuit board...

Oh hell, I should have mentioned that I tried that before. Yes, there are a couple that line up, but not too many. Plus, if you zoom in, you'll see along one edge is has 6/6/2010 written on it (as I recall, I don't have it in front of me). The only dots that line up are a couple of the curves for the single cards (not the overlays) and there are several places where it works. Honestly, it's garbage.
