Event Code?
Event Code?

The ARG seems to love using code based clues - right now, we have not been given a 'key' to decode our message. I would imagine this might be as simple as receiving a decode key that we can use to obtain an event code.

Just throwing this out there, because Im no Goonie and was lazy at practicing my piano lessons, but could these lines of sheet music?

I revived an Astro Gunner card, nothing new of note from mine.

there are so many repeat posts of the same questions that occurred within the first 10 pages of this topic. of course if i stumbled on to a new topic that deep theres no way i'd read through all that just to get towards the answer. 4true

nice idea on the map overlay - similar to last years SDCC codes from the posters.
perhaps a new wave of post cards will reveal the true solution to this dot code.

i considered the locations of the dots being spread out on a bread board/circuit board as mentioned earlier. a key containing what resistors would be necessary to complete the puzzle would be cool - however this would be crazy complicated and only the most elite of ARG'ers + hackers would be able to complete this challenge. thus - i've ruled that out myself. haha but what an idea it was

still having fun. can't wait to see what some of the clothing will be coming out.
some body out there will have an epic tron suit for halloween this year i'm sure of it. can't wait

There's a schematic at the bottom of the page. Most likely bogus as other people have pointed out holes in the blog of this particular author, but that's what tokiwar1 is talking about.

i dont get it, i posted this up last week and ya'll said it was BS.

It is BS. There's a lot of users on this forum, don't assume all of them lurk.

My opinion is that the guy is trying to raise awareness about CAX by making new artwork for Video Pinball (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Video_Pinball)

And if any of you are going to CAX after reading it, then it worked.

Oh hell, I should have mentioned that I tried that before. Yes, there are a couple that line up, but not too many. Plus, if you zoom in, you'll see along one edge is has 6/6/2010 written on it (as I recall, I don't have it in front of me). The only dots that line up are a couple of the curves for the single cards (not the overlays) and there are several places where it works. Honestly, it's garbage.
i started thinking about when we went looking for sam... i went to the CAX sight and checked out their flyer. page 2 glitched out on me every time i downloaded it so i started thinking maybe there is a reason it didnt come through right. plus the front has a set of dots much like those on the post cards. there is also pacman characters so this most likely has nothing to do with tron at all. just thought i'd share to see if someone wanted to check it out and confirm that it is a dead end as well.

This Video Pinball hack is interesting... If Disney is in any way responsible for it then they would have to have partnered with Atari on it, since it's a mod of old Atari hardware.
My initial reaction is that it's nothing more than an independent mod, much like the Donkey Kong 2: Jumpman Returns hack.
But why ENCOM, and why Video Pinball?
The flyer has the ENCOM tm which is odd...
Not quite sure how to respond to this. Is it in-game or not?
Is anyone here going to the 2010 California Extreme?

This makes no sense. The MCP was a chess program at the time VP was written. It certainly wouldn't have been a bad guy. And it just happens to play the same plot as the original movie? This sounds too much like a prank. Nicely put together, but a prank.

Considering that the last several news posts on FlynnLive.com were posted on Wednesday or Thursday, chances are they'll post something tonight or tomorrow.

Well, the postcard puzzle may be done by the time CAX rolls around. I can't make it to SDCC, but I will be going to CAX! I guess I can report from there if things are legit. I'll bring my Encom badge & postcards. Like I said, I'm new at this, so I'll show up to CAX armed.
