Seems to me since we established there are 12 games, 4 came in the first wave, and there's another week of game cycle to go before Flynn's Arcade will be open, I would expect that we'll see 8 more cards total, 4 total in this week's run.

Space Paranoids... that'll be a prime card.

Oh, and 12 does NOT count the game Tron. That would make sense as a 'golden ticket' item.

Maybe there's only five cards. Guess we'll see!

You could be right — perhaps this is the 'key' card which fills in the blanks. Which means I'd better get a blacklight scan of this thing NOW.

Re: NEW POSTCARD

I just got my 2nd Tron game/FL postcard: it's for D-Con4 and a sticker on it confirms: "Don't miss Flynn's Arcade 7/22-24", which seems to imply these postcards codes may be scanned (or such) at Comic-Con to yield new FL game clues.

And yes, there is another strip with blacklight dot codes on this card. Working on scans of the card now, will upload very soon.

I don't have a real blacklight that can pick up the dots enough to photograph, but I'll work on that too.

ADDING the game description for searching purposes:

D-Con4 - The dimensions of good and evil have never been so clearly defined. It is your mission to defend humankind from an onslaught of lasers, raining down on our home planet with venomous accuracy. Are you prepared?

Well, I'll be damned! I'll keep an eye on my mailbox then! Thanks for the heads-up, FilmEdge!Very Happy

Though it's obvious, I forgot to mention they didn't use stamps this time, but digital postage — so no postmark date this time.

I live in SoCal quite close to Pasadena (home of 42 Entertainment), so I would assume this card was sent Friday to arrive today. My previous card took 1 biz day to arrive after the Jun 29 postmark date.

I'd also guess that some international cards may have been sent earlier last week, since I recall some of our UK/Euro players had postmarks of Jun 23 or so on last card.

I live in San Diego, my card came right away last time. The mail hasn't hit me yet, but once it does I'm sure I'll have a card. Once I do I'll post results.

Just my .02c based on a gut feeling.
I think this new card is a quick and dirty fix for our not being able to figure out the puzzle with the four cards we had previously. It's getting too close to Comic Con to let it go unsolved.
Whether the designers now see why we've struggled so much with it and own up or they think we're a bunch of boneheads will likely go unanswered till after the game.
Hopefully, we'll not see this type of puzzle presented in "inkjet" format in the future.
And, I'll be surprised if more than a few "key" people get this card (Unless a bunch go out, today or later.)

D-CON 4 postcard code image

Okay, this is a rush job of photographic/importing/pasting, but this is the sequence of dots found on my D-Con 4 card (attached).

Wanted to post it so you geniuses who did all the grid alignment work with the previous cards can see/download it and get independent results on lining it up.

I'll have to backtrack slightly: when viewed PROPERLY under UV light, there aren't as many dots on this as I thought... not an unusually high amount as I thought before. Tried to stitch best shots together for clear viewing.

Nice! Anyone care to splice this into the current combination of dots from the other 4 postcards, please?

Looks like you might be the only one who's gotten a card today! (You lucky SOB, you! Wink ) The pressures on you to solve this thing today! Save us all from death by anticipation! Shocked

I'd say that's practically as many dots (if not slightly more) than all 4 cards from before put together.
There's a crapload of dots on the top row... Interesting.

Hmmm....I just noticed something.

Take a look at this image of the comined previous 4 patterns:

Now look at this new one (see attached file below). Anyone else noticing that they're FINALLY starting to line up to the point where we can now properly guess the message?

And here they are one above the other at the same width, so we can do a simple line-up job by eye until someone smarter at image manipulation does the real thing.

Yeah, not terribly helpful, is it?
