Just use a paperclip to move the pin. If it doesnt move than you are on the right track

Movement I can now move my outer ring again by using a over the top big safety pin. ive looked at ur vid Crazy but ive counted the amount for every ring and tried one to the left and one to the right just to make sure but still nothing. i can hear something move inside but still cant get it to release. I saw yours was black but mine is gold and red does that make a difference?

Click count My gold coloured Copernisis has the following click count...starting from innermost ring going outwards:-
9, 6, 16, 13, 35. All anticlockwise except for 4th ring - 13 clicks
Hope this helps those with the gold coloured version

Wired could tell you how to solve the Copernisis conundrum, but it won't help: "There are 188 million combinations," says Andrew Reeves, its creator. "I could show you how and you still wouldn't be able to do it. It requires a certain amount of research into the solar system."

SO CONFUSED I'm so confused!!! My secret compartment won't open no matter what I do, and no matte what clicks I do, whether it be the Gold copernisis or the black limited edition (the one I have) The thing wont budge! I've tried everything I can think of, I found the equation online, still didn't help, every with the right ring positions, all I hear is a rattling inside. The all feel like they're locking, but even after an hour of bashing, still nothing. Is mine broke? What do I need to do?

Are you talking about the equation compartment or the actual key compartment
If it is the equation one, all you need is a screwdriver to just pry it open and you can see the equation. People said you just use ur thumb but the slit they give you, well u need nails like a girl to get it.
For the key compartment. It took me a while to get it but then I found and downloaded the video off the net. I had the gold edition and the video was the black. The ring position and where the top to the key compartment was the same. once I got it i could feel the key chamber move so I know I unlocked it but could only get it to come flush with the outer edge. After some prying and bashing nothing. I posed a post here and as I was waiting for a reply, I gave it one more bash and it got to a point where i could pull it out. It seems the draw is actually not a snug fit cos mine had been filed down and still didnt fit properly.
Also my was very oily and caused my fingers to slip and cut on the edges.
The copernisis is not my favorite of the isis puzzles. Im currently lookining into the alternative (Revomaze), while they make the isis IV
If you have any problems, PM me and ill help you
