The tones from the scariestthing website? Has anyone tried to figure out if phone tones match those tones in the downloadable audio file? Perhaps those are a code to Josh's voicemail? Or perhaps they reveal a whole other phone number?

Question RE: Voicemails I've never had a voicemail I could access, so I don't know what having the password would enable. Could someone explain if it could lead to old messages, or just leads to the ability to modify settings??

Not only has someone suggested using the STIES audio file two posts above yours, but another user attempted and failed on the first page. Really, this thread is only two pages long; it's not that much to keeptrack of.

tones none of the posts are about playing the actual tones, they are about matching the tones to the phone tones, i didnt not say that, hence the reference to the MOVIE HACKERS when they played the recorded tones. all the above posts said matching the tones to phone tones to figure out a number sequence but i'm not saying that. so please read carefully when i say play the tones from the computer straight into your phone, not matching tones to phone keys not finding numbers i will quote every post if i have to to get the point across so no ganging up pleas unless u see some other post that exactly relates to my post.
thnx

Re: tones Trout, line and sinker...
On with the game - How would one best "play" a tonal sequence on skype to a voicemail?? Having only skyped for the first time 48h ago, I'm not sure personally.

I've tried playing the tonal sequence for the voicemail and it doesn't seem to be doing anything. Even trying to record the sound as a message itself isn't doing anything and I can't hear it when I try to review my message.
And I don't know anything about Skype.

Sure thing!
A voicemail account allows you to record a message to explain who you are and ask those calling to leave a message. Eventually, you'd want to retrieve those messages. To check the messages they've left for you, you would call a voicemail number (or call your own number) and enter your mailbox number and password. This allows you to listen, delete and manage your messages.
If you've ever had an answering machine, this is the same thing, only it's electronic and offered by a phone provider.
With voicemail, you also have the ability to record different messages, forward calls to another number, and several other options depending on who provides the voicemail service.

Multipsych as you've twice flashed the fish without sinking the link, you get a big fat serving:
I flounder thee!
As konamouse said, you don't serve the trout raw - it must be properly cooked .
