Read the contents of the WELCOME! box right at the top of the page and it will link you to many valuable functions and topics to help new players get informed, including a direct link to the Search function in cap letters.
Enjoy exploring it, you'll learn a lot and have more fun in the game/forum.

Linked to "what" at all? The phone number? Space challenge in the letter from RP HQ?

You know, I think the person who mentioned being able to hear other messages left on the Vmail is spot on. I mean, what if the person talking to him via the STIES page with the photo of the trailer(VER)/pink hat left him a message? Not at all secure and I get the impression that the guy on STIES is being super cautious, but who knows.

Well jesus, I'm almost afraid to say anything because everything anyone says is torn apart. I've been following this thing from the beginning and every time I try to put in my two cents it is shot down by that stupid trout. Everyone is so caught up with being superior to all the (newbies) they don't recognize when someone is trying to add something to an already posted question. Just because you have talked about it already doesn't mean someone new won't have a different take on something which could lead to a new clue.
You are taking all the fun away from the whole marketing campaign.

The trout isn't a bad thing, just a kinder way to say your idea was already brought up and you should have used the search function. If you have something new to add to a previously discussed idea then by all means please do so. But I suggest you either quote or link the comment that you are expanding upon with your new or different take on it. It keeps things neat and tidy so to speak. We will have fewer repeat ideas resulting in fewer trouting and a more relevant discussion. Please don't let your Salvelinusophobia stop you from jumping in and sharing your thoughts.

This is true.Trout isnt a bad thing but can intimidate newbies.And some newbies are quick to use,and sometimes incorrectly.I read and reread posts to be safe before posting.And after 400 posts I recieved my 1st trout and it was well deserved.And I was fine with it and proud it took 400 posts before getting it.So dont be afraid of the trout.Just keep it in mind when posting .

Vernon, adding new ideas to previously discussed points/topics are always welcome... as long as they truly add something new and don't repeat the exact question brought up previously and repeatedly before.
This is why the forum suggests using the board search function before new members post, so they ensure their 'new' idea is actually new to the discussion. And those new ideas are always great to read for all players, new and veteran alike! The right new idea can break the game open for everyone, so keep at it.

Star bit/1-800 link Ifsogirl81;
Do you have a theory/suggestion how "the number of stars bit on the letters" could be linked to the phone number?
Have you tried any theories, such as on the password for the voicemail box?

I called them. Seems like a legit marketing company. After a few levels of menus I was connected to a representative...was kind of awkward. Seems OOG to me.
