[SOLVED][PUZZLE] SOL: Dark Music Box

Have to subtract the music from the sound files to get the dialog.

http://www.stewardoflondon.com/public/index

ETA: Added my poor attempt at unmixing the sound files

Solved with the exception that someone needs to visit the coords discovered.

54.5760604541994 11.925798654556274

Gets my vote. If they are lat/lon it's a trainyard in germany:

http://maps.google.com/maps?q=54.5760604541994%2011.925798654556274&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&hl=en&tab=wl

ETA: Ok as lat/lon we can take off the last 7 digits, the last 7 digits are somewhat similar

4541994 and 4556274, boxcars maybe? I'd check that myself but I have to put my son to bed Razz

Here's what I hear. If a pair of numbers is in slashes like this: /54/ it means that I heard fifty-four, not five four.

/54/.5760604541994/11/19257186545566274

EDIT: I relistened and I could be hearing this instead:

/54/.5760604541994/11/.9257186545566274

Ok, it is definitely lat/lon and definitely pointing to the train yard in Gedser, Denmark.

There is a point of interest at that exact spot on the cfg map. Cool

Now we just need someone to go visit it. I emailed Marcus asking if him and Axel could go.

This site: http://wikitravel.org/en/Gedser claims the train yard was closed in 2009.

Anyone know anyone in Denmark?

ETA: There is also a web site for a train museum at that spot, http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=da&u=http://gedserremise.dk/&ei=J5kyTO6vIeXtnQf1-LH4Aw&sa=X&oi=translate&ct=result&resnum=1&ved=0CBUQ7gEwAA&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dgedser%2Bremise%2Bjernbane%2Bmuseum%26hl%3Den%26client%3Dfirefox-a%26hs%3DDBe%26rls%3Dorg.mozilla:en-US:official

Google doesn't want to translate a bunch of it, but there is an email address and phone number so if nothing else we have options there. Still would need Danish speakers though.

I think, denish people are trained to use english to, if we don't get a native speaker. Is there any explanation why we need to do sounddecription stuff, if there s allready a point of interest at that location?

Does this audio clue seriously point to that "point of interest" location we already have on the cfg map?

That's pretty much par for the course for the SOL puzzles, isn't it?

I've been in Gedser now for ~half an hour without finding the cache. I did find an abandoned train with no lights at all, the cache might be in there. I need a flashlight which I will try to get.

Were the other cache(s) found at the exact spot of their coordinates?

As for Berlin, it was at the exact position, given in the map.

After receiving a complete give-away hint, I found the cache. It contains a copper pin with the CFG logo (pictures will follow when I get home), as well as a hand-written letter:

You have probably found our little present that we left for you in this envelope.
Wear this pin on your person at all times and you will find many doors previously closed magically open for you.
