Introduction and Question
I joined this forum strictly for this sub forum LoL! I am new here, 25 year old Female. And I have a few questions.

1. Does anyone else find this as freaky as I do even though they know it's not real? I mean seriously, the first night I saw this I had nightmares all night! Tonight I am afraid to sleep. Am I just a wuss?

2. What's with all the coughing in the house and on the tapes?

3. Is this already completed and are we just waiting for it to be posted? Is there a way to watch all of this that I am missing?

4. What are the origins of Slenderman?

 		This has all been discused in previous forums, but to answer your questions:

1. Even though I knew it was fake...for the first week or so I was freaked out over MH. I think because Slenderman plays off of this 1 question: would you rather (A) Be trapped in a fully light house with a murder or (B) Be trapped in that same house in the pitch darkness with something following you and you have no clue what it is,of it's intentions,if it's human, or if it's even there.

2. That's similar to the film distortage in the tapes when slendy pops up...it just happens and is a clue

3. Season 1 of Marble Hornets is over and J and the rest of them are on a temporary hiatus due to school and other things. I'm sure everyone in this sub-forum (including myself) are checking their youtube channel and twitter just about everyday for an update.

4. Slenderman was created on June 10th,2009 during a 'paranormal pictures' photoshop contest thread that was launched on the Something Awful forums a few days before. His creator is a member known as Victor Surge and said he based SM loosely on the tall man from phantasm.

 		SO there is More Slenderman to come? SNOOGANS! I cannot wait for this! I am going to watch it over and over til I'm not scared any more (Just like I did for the one other movie that scared the crap out of me which I will not name because apparently it scared no one else LoL) THANKS!

When I first watched the series I was definitely jumpy for a while. I only discovered Marble Hornets around Entry #22 so a lot of it had been piling up but there was still a lot left happening. The Totheark videos set me on edge the most; moreso than Jay's entries. So creepy, so not-quite-nonsensical! It's part of the reason that I got so hooked on posting on the Unfiction forums... analyzing the heck out of the series stripped away the scary factor (and was also a lot of fun.)

We think that the coughing is a form of 'slendy sickness'. Tim and Jay seem to display it when they've been exposed to Slender Man for a while. Jay also mentions that his head feels horrible on more than one occasion when we know that Slender Man's been around him! (Strangely, we never see Alex coughing... seems like he takes his vitamins!)

'Part 1' is complete. Whether or not 'Part 2' will start any time soon is a mystery to everyone. There's no time-frame for when the next 'season' will start, or where we'll see it start from. Like Slendylvr says, poking back around the youtube accounts and the twitter accounts seems like the best option for now. I'm of the opinion that Part 2 will probably either start up once fall hits (so that they can have the summer off to A) film in advance or B) enjoy their free time -- they've earned it!) or else they won't start up until next summer. Mad I'm hoping it's the former!

Know Your Meme is the best. Hopefully it'll give you something to read while you're waiting for the rest of the series with us! (Also, have you found Jay's twitter account? If you match those up with the youtube account and the TTA replies you'll get a more complete picture of what happened!)
