Or, perhaps, as I expect, the Lettermakers episode is not about getting them to write the letters to Trevor, Angel, et all but rather getting them to write letters to new recruits who have yet to be revealed... and may be players themselves! For some reason when I saw the letter dropped at the end of the episode, I thought we would have to go retrieve it.

I do remember reading somewhere that they were thinking of bridging the story to real life by having players submit applications to the LXD etc and the good dancers among the players would be accepted. Also by having the LXD characters' superpowers be real abilities, it allows them to have live event appearances.

So, today was the day of my doctors appointment. I waited, excited for something to happen--but, nothing happened. Well, it is 11:01pm, so technically, something could happen before 12:00am, but I doubt it at this point.

Did anything happen for anyone else on their days?

Same here, nothing much happened. Did you put your contact number in the form? Because I didn't and I'm not sure if we were suppose to receive a call.

No nothing happened for me either or my wife. We put it different numbers and neither of us got a call or an email or anything. Sad

Cole Waters just updated his blog again, with the entry: http://colewaters.wordpress.com/2010/08/10/stakeout/

He's on stakeout outside the Pleasanton Hospital. Apparently our Sp3cimen escaped without a single trace of him ever being there, most likely the Dark Doctor covering the whole thing up.

The post was via video-blog from his YouTube account, http://www.youtube.com/user/mrcolewaters
Yet the video is unlisted so far. I'm not sure if it's because it was just uploaded, or if he chose to have it as unlisted to hide it. Regardless, it gives us a new medium to contact him by - yet he still insists we use his site.

Here's the transcript:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
"Okay, this is Cole Waters coming to you with a conspiracy that could shake Pleasanton High to it's very foundations. Look at this. Just a regular old permission slip for a field trip, right? Right? Wrong! What our parents have been signing are contracts. Contracts to give the school complete control over our lives. You don't believe me? Listen to this. "I, the parent of Cole Marion Waters, relinquish the school of all liability should my child suffer bodily injury or harm." ... "Bodily injury or harm"? What does the school expect is going to happen to us on the field trips? So to find out, I'm staking out Pleasanton Hospital before the health class' field trip here next week. Oh, shh- shh-" [A police car moves by.]

"I'm staking out Pleasanton Hospital, okay? I've already checked out their website, PleasantonHospital.com; there's some seriously weird stuff going on. A bunch of people; a bunch of patients have gone missing over the last several years. The latest one leaving no trace they were ever there, but a few scraps of paper. Just like the ones at that crazy warehouse. Yet another clue, leading to the mysterious organization known as The LXD.

Okay, I'm signing off. If you hear anything, hit me up on my website. This is Cole Waters, signing off. ColeWaters.com."

He also says something right at the very end, there. But I can't quite make it out. On my laptop speakers, it almost sounds like "I love you." Laughing

About 0:46 seconds into the video, a guy drives by on a bicycle. I have attached a picture of him at the bottom for interest. Just because he has awesome hair.
Also attached is the best image I could get of the consent form. Cole kept waving it around, so every shot of it was blurry. It's funny to note he's reading it as if his parents have already filled it out, yet it's completely blank.

[EDIT]
Oh, and for the love of God, please do something with this.
I just couldn't help myself!

It is just "I love you." Cute/weird, but unimportant.

Edit: unless it means he thought he was going to die. A real possibility with the Dark Doctor lurking around, but LXD doesn't seem to have killed off any characters yet (with the possible exception of Tendo?).

I asked him to book an appointment. Well, not because he's crazy or anything. So he could check out the place himself. Smile

Ok with this new video out there it feels like there might be a good game here. Let's see where this goes, anyway check out this latest post.
http://colewaters.wordpress.com/2010/08/11/lxd-angerous/

Seems like cole is looking for you to get dancing and see if you can figure out on how to get recruited by the lxd or maybe even the hospital itself. It will be interesting to see how the puppet masters will react to said videos of everyone doing the best to pull off dance moves to try to infiltrate the LXD.

Geek boy with his shirt untucked? Perish the thought!

Cracking the code to becoming a member:

Step 1: Master a specific style of dance (Krumping, Breaking, Popping, Robot and bodyshaking are listed)

Step 2: Perform your moves on camera and post your videos on line, don't forget to use the space that you are in (maybe a way for players to interact and be part of the group?)

Step 3: You must have unique style

Step 4: Be patient

Oh SNAP!

Funny they decided to use a consent form from the Boy Scouts of America - that's the logo you see at the top.

Someone posted this on Cole's blog. I assume it's him but can't verify if it's legit since anyone can freely post, some of it are un-TINAG & comments are unmoderated.

I've requested for *a check-up on October 1st. Hopefully I can get in and see if I'll dig up *some dirt on the urban myth "The Dark Doctor" I read about on the Pleasanton Hospital website!

(Sorry, I was in such a rush to make this announcement, I forgot to double-check my message!)

On the Booking Calendar of http://pleasantonhospital.com , October 1st is marked purple as of this time which means it is a pe=nding reservation.

eta:

Nevermind, there's a follow up comment from C. It's not Cole.

Even though my country it isn't listed, I am able to watch it now. I guess they're currently rolling it out. The site automatically detected my region and loaded the video via Joost (instead of Hulu).
