Sounds much more like "Be assured...." or "reassured" something, something

Thank you!!

However, I have a question - are you 100% certain you recorded everything from the beginning?

I distinctly remember a woman saying "aquapoli"; as a matter of fact, that was the first thing I heard (I think?). Could be just all in my mind... since I've clearly been thinking about it too much lately. Did anybody else who got the phonecall hear it?

...

i mostly lurk here, and i havent heard the message yet, but i've read what you've posted.

what if they're all at the aquapolis and something happened, flood or whatever and this call is simply a recording of that?

(or someone dialed for help [us] and let the phone hear the convo in the room)

anywho... it seems this is pointing to an event that is happening (just happened) and we're supposed to help? or at least figure out what/why...

what about those aquapolis incedent logs? someone check them now, and see if this 'incident' is on them

Since people can obviously hear the word "aquapolis" in there, I'm thinking part of the recording might be missing (just the very beginning)... I'm pretty sure "aqaupoli" was one of the first things I heard.

Phone call

It sounds like, "... Came from . . . content . . . I'll check the security air locks, and (klaxon noise) . . ."

Klaxon

Note on "Klaxon":

It is a commonly used alarm on MARINE vessels (read: ships at sea) used as an alarm for major problems. It commonly signals a call for everyone to man their emegency stations.

Just a thought. It makes me think even more that this is Aquapolis related.

Be assured

I'm working on cleaning up the recording a little in SoundForge. I've sliced it up into 7 segments:

1) [Man's voice dictating commands or reading code]
2) Alarm/klaxon/warning sound
3) [Music from Scratch's Flash w/ unidentified speech]
4) " Dude, what do you think you're doing?"
5) "Be assured Mr. Ormond"
6) "Everything is A-OK and under control"
7) [Misc. sounds]

So far I (we Wink ) could hear:
'....directory came from...'
'..I'll check main security handles...' (...bay security airlocks...)(handbooks?) (logs?)
'...zeus wadda think you're doing...? (dude)
' are you sure mr. Ormond.. '. (assured)
..everyting is A-OK and under control...'

and the distorted voice, could that be greek?
reeks of aquapolis...
[edit] copied my post from the closed thread, seemed significant enough [/edit]

try to find out if its dude or zeus, if its zeus then it could be pointing at apollo, or maybe something else...if its dude, then that explains its self. i still think it says zeus, but i can see why people think dude too...

I'm pretty sure that he says bay-security air locks, in wich case it all points to aquapolis and the incidentlogs. Imho, we should be looking for the identity of 'drowning man'.

The more I listen to it, the more it sounds like "Be assured Mr. Ormond" or "Reassured Mr. Ormond"... It sounds like a statment rather than a question.

The only other thing I could possibly hear would be "We are (or We're) sure Mr. Ormond"

If she is indeed saying "Be assured Mr. Ormond" or "We are sure Mr. Ormond", could this be Katherine?

I got this call in the middle of a Halloween party, complete with hopped-up-on-sugar screaming children. And the only two things I could make out were "what do you think you're doing?", and "Aquapolis" at the very beginning. I know I'm not retroactively imagining things because I remember sort of freaking out for a split second, wondering why the F*CK I was getting a call from Aquapolis.

So yes, Yanka, you are not alone, I heard "Aquapolis" too.

The incident logs haven't changed (yet), but you make an interesting point - perhaps some of this audio is from previous incidents - either the drowning guy or the flooding...

Re: PHONE: Unknown voicemail 10/31 20:42 EST

I just double checked with the message saved on my cell phone. Everything I have is reproduced in the mp3. Assuming this was automated, it's possible it started playing back before the voicemail system was ready to record. So, you could be entirely correct about the aquapoli.
