New site confirms it's Falling Skies.

There is a contest to win a walk on role on Falling Skies.

There is also a map with checkpoints at SDCC convention center, phone number (1-877-7-twomass), a sign up sheet.

and a message to the tune of "look to the skies on July 23rd for your name"

Actually, the next checkpoint says check around 23rd, 4:45p.m. but the contest says to look to the skies on the 24th.

Edit--How are these Front Line Transmissions updated?

Yeah, that's all I got. There are some official dudes holding 2nd Mass signs with another QR code but I couldn't find a good enough picture... we're missing two checkpoints.

So it seems something else is going on over at 2nd Mass - 2 new journal-type posts (dated Sept 13 and Oct 5) from someone named "Jason", talking about making his way to his parent's lake house while avoiding the alien spaceships overhead. A Polaroid picture of *something* I can't make out are on the side of the page next to the journal with coordinates on it - 42.297N 71.416W - which, if I computed it correctly, is somewhere near Framingham MA. The Polaroid itself when clicked launches the Falling Skies official website.

So, nothing much yet... but looks like the story may be coming back to life, perhaps for some shenanigans at NY Comic Con this weekend!
