In all other aspects this laptop rocks, Asus G50vt-X5 - it can handle bioshock 2 with everything set as high as possible, yet it lags keypresses.

By the way, love the avatar - the Knight Industries 2000 voice modulator and status display.

I had that a lot too, on my rather fast desktop. I don't think the problem is the laptop, but the code.
