Anyone got any ideas on what "R.I." could stand for?

My first thought, given the context it's found in, is R.I.P with some mistranslation, or attempt at sending a message, in the lack of P.

That was my thought, too. If they're deliberately omitting the 'P' than I'm not sure why they'd have kept in the 'I'.

'rest in 09 18'? Maybe Logan got bumped into September 18th instead of dyyyyyiiiing, ooooooh~! XD

The 0918 could flip to 1980; seems like they gave Logan's birthday there, so maybe someone born in 1980 will be next?

Hm, maybe. The characters seem to be a bit young for that, but perhaps they'll introduce someone older?

As for gamejacking, I'm thinking the same kind of idea as that one slender-blog that stole the Masky idea and used it for their own story; a straight-up copy with slightly different-painted face. I always equated gamejacking with a certain amount of plagiarism and/or concept theft... so if this blog is using Logan and clocks and the same imagery and story bits as JAFool without actually being linked to 'em, that'd be gamejacking!

Hm, that's an interesting definition. I always thought of gamejacking as a kind of "parasite": not sure what I really meant besides that, but!

As for the idea that Slendy time-shifted Logan... ooh, that's really interesting. Maybe the message itself is from someone who's been time-shifted, like Lexi, trying to tell us that time-shifting's possible? Since Lexi apparently didn't post it (or doesn't remember doing so), so maybe!

The numbers in the middle of post could be a clue, but maybe they're just there to be annoying! And isn't there some more TICKS after the second period?

I've put in some linebreaks to make it readable. Not sure whether you included these or deliberately left them out xD

[edit] New post, by Lexi. Give an individual reply to everyone who posted, but it looks like this might not be connected to JAFool, if Lexi's reaction is anything to go by. Maybe the author just gave Logan's name as a "shout out" of sorts, like Seeking Truth did a few times? This is a bit more cryptic, though.

Thanks, Adonis - you're right, and they translated to "P". So it is "R.I. P". (Also, are you going to post the Welsh translations, or do you want someone else to do it? I feel like I'm stealing everyone's thunder with all my posting!)

It's hard to tell if this is a gamejack/copycat at this point, but I'm sure it'll become more apparent as it goes on. I'm inclined to think it isn't, but that's probably naive optimism!

(Oh, feel free to! I don't mind at all. I may make a few corrections, however.)

This doesn't really feel like a sequel to JAFool to me (as mentioned a few times), so I'm more inclined to think that it's a bit like Seeking Truth in recent times; a big crossover in the side-stories, but this one seems to be doing it a little less formally, if it is.

That's a damn shame, though it looks as though the author is playing dumb with the tags and such, so we may not be able to trust his input about the issue. Too bad there aren't any in-character links to prove the connection as being accurate!

New post up.

Looks like a bit of "hunt the Slenderslipper." Gonna post my comments in spoilers.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
In the first, I think he's at the end of the path. There's a weird black... thing, but it doesn't have the tie/head/hands. So he might be somewhere else, and the writer(s) have just put it there to screw with our heads.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Big ol' mess of trees. Can't see him anywhere in this one, but there is a big splotch of black in top-center. Bit small to be Slendy, though.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Maybe he's on the horizon?

Of course, I'm taking into account that the picture's might not have Slendy in them at all; this blog doesn't seem like they would be averse to trolling!

[repost]
No update, but P/P has posted up an album containing quite a number of photos. Any obvious Slendy sightings in there?

So I'm curious. Are all of the different people making posts on ALoL (the abbreviation of which makes me lol!) really different people, or are we looking at a poster who has multiple personalities or something? It just seems weird that they'd all post to a blog that runs as if it's supposed to belong to one guy.

They posted a link to the complete photo collection in the comments section, here it is:

EDIT: "Crabs. You can't tell from this shot, but they've been gutted. Their organs are about five feet away."

"Don't recall taking this one."
I'm guessing that cave will be important.

Besides that, I can't see Slendy in any of these, but some are creepy nonetheless.

^^ I'm of the opinion that they're all meant to be different people, judging from the different font colours, slightly different writing styles (Lexiconical uses few emoticons, for example) and references to living in different places. Or did I misunderstand the question?

As for the photos; some are a bit creepy. There's two photos of dead animals; a rabbit (which looks like it got run over or something) and some crabs, which were apparently gutted. There's also a few pictures of animals (especially sheep). And there's a lot of weird tree shots.

Also: I can confirm that at least two of these shots are from Wales, the country. The picture of the statue is from... argh, can't remember. It's in West Wales, though; every shot after that is of the Brecon Mountains, a popular hiking destination. And I think that beach is Cwmbran or something like that. My cousin thinks so, anyway.

Hey, new blog post. Here.

Looks like someone's following Lexi, or at least can't be seen by P/P.

[edit] Just occurred to me that I could edit my comment into here. Copy/paste from deleted post.

Quote:
Sorry for the double-post, but there's been one or two updates. Looks like Lexi's been bitten by the apathy bug (with some rather poor writing, imo) and P/P (and Sub?) have been given a weird picture in the mail.

Not sure where the writer's going with this, must be honest =/ Besides generic build-up.

[edit] Also, isn't Slendy on the right-hand side of this picture? Or at the "top" of it, I had the picture rotated by 90 degrees when viewing it xD

Well, I certainly don't see Slendy in that picture at all.

Mm, maybe. I meant the tree nearest the top of the frame, but I might just be looking a bit too hard. It would assume that Slendy can stand at a ninety-degree angle, too.

[edit] Update. Another crazy notebook thing. Not sure what it's meant to be, if there's any shapes in there besides Slendy.
