The laundry lady hollers back, "Have some faith in your Governor, girl! This is your duty! We must keep this mansion running even during the worst of times! Now, get up and go clean the statue."

The servant girl sees you, and her eyes widen. "Oh, please. Please," she pleads, looking at you. "Please don't let them send my boyfriend to war. We were going to escape."

"And where would you have gone?" The old woman ignores you – for now.

"Anywhere, anywhere," the girl sobs. "If only someone had helped us."

Now the old woman turns to you. "I see you've managed to clean your own clothes. How nice," she says with unmistakable sarcasm in her voice. "Since you're so smart, why don't you take charge of this servant girl?" She throws up her wrinkled hands. "I don't care anymore. Let her run off if she wants. It'll be the end of her and her no good boyfriend."

"It will not!" the girl cries.

"Oh, yes it will, missy. Just you wait until you're outside of Transition Village, and you're no longer under the Governor's protection. Just you wait until then. And you can't come back after that! It isn't possible."

Both ghosts turn to you. "So," the old laundry lady says. "What will it be? Should she stay here or run? You decide. I have other things to attend to."

The old woman vanishes.

I don't suppose anybody knows what happens to a ghost that leaves the village? I don't want to lead the poor girl to her death.

 		So... I'm kind of confused about how to revive Earl on this turn.

I have the bloody hand rag that says "EVIDENCE: EARL DEROSA, SHOT. NECESSARY TO REVIVE." But someone else has the soap? But that's 2 people...?

I was thinking, do we wash Earl (where is Earl?) with the bloody hand-rag to "erase" him getting shot?

We only have a few hours. Sad
