Scrub a Dub Dub
I've got the power of a manly shower

Eeps, I almost forgot to give my turn today. But I took his soap and I'm nearby so I got to work. Here's what I sent to TV:

Quote:
Looking down at the ghostly body of my new acquaintance, Earl, I'm a bit scandalized! Oh dear, I barely know this gentleman and it seems from this bit of ghostly message I must give him a bath. Even though this wasn't in the job description, I'm a quick learner.

Taking out my purloined bottle of Sticky Itchers Shower Scrub, I squeeze out a bit into my hands and begin my patented snake method of shower and massage on his body. I try not to think of how odd it is others are frozen in time around me, some ready to strike in mid-battle.

The lather feels good between my fingers and I carefully shampoo his head and face. Then I make sure to wash his chest and debate about whether I need to remove his flannel shirt to do so. I'm a lady, so I decide it best to do a quick wash of his limbs and his clothing.

Standing back, I admire my work. Earl is quite clean now, and I must admit- he sure cleans up nice.

Way to step up, Kendra! I intentionally held off responding to mine until we had more of the message together. Now I'm going to think a bit on what I should do.

so it seems as if only one person is able to revive him

so this time we just need to combine our pieces of code to get the whole message. the rest of us return to their moves after 72 h, am I right?

Ya know, that could be right Lair. It is a three-day holiday weekend in the States. The PMs might be celebrating.

All washed up
Sorry about that!

Oh no! Didn't mean to mess things up. It looked like we were running out of time and I still needed to make a move, had the soap and was near Earl. Hopefully everything is on track! Hmm.. Maybe this was supposed to go to the Great F. Rogers instead?

Take Care,
Kendra

As soon as you introduce yourself to the girl, something strange happens. A fine mist floats near you, catching your nostrils and making you dizzy. The world around you seems to slow down. Your eyes grow tired and unable to focus. Everything goes white…

You are in a great mist. All around you are the people and ghosts you have been with, only they appear to be frozen in time. Did the fragrant air do this?

Then out of the mist walks the ghost of a young man wearing a flannel. He looks at you. "That's some pretty manly stuff, huh?" He nods at the mist in the air. "I have a message for one of your friends," he says. "It, uh, it got a little ripped up along the way. I delivered some pieces to a few travelers, but I don't think the whole thing was together. My mistake. Do you know whether they will put it together?"

Looks like this time freezing thing happened to everybody. I agree that this probably has something to do with the long weekend. That kinda works out for me, cause I didn't get around to sending in a response yesterday... haha.

Bewildered, I marvel at what just happened. Has time stopped completely? I flex my fingers a little, to make sure that I still have mastery over my own body. Well, if I can move, and this flannel-clad gentleman can still move, I guess time hasn't stopped completely. Realizing that I've been silent for too long as I contemplate the infinite, I start and quickly answer the ghostly form: "I believe that they have both received and pieced together the message that they've received. In fact, I think that the translator is attempting to take action based on the contents. I would suppose that after this manly mist has dissipated, she will set to work bathing the ghost."

I didn't get an encoded message. That's all that was in the email I received. Sad

My last response from TV:

You take a piece of paper from Earl's ghost, and you read it.

We Now Return To Your Scheduled Ghost-Fighting
Holy technical difficulties, Batman!

Quote:
You wait for the ghost to vanish and the mist to disappear. There is nothing you can do to help him, and you don't try. The ghost looks sad as he vanishes. Then the mist around you vanishes, as well. You are back in front of the church.

Holding up the horseshoe, you threaten the ghosts who have set fire to the church. You're surprised that they – and their horse – react in terror, dashing off into the distance. That was effective.

But the front door is too heavily bolted for you to open it. You search for something else around the back.

Toward the back of the church stands a ghost. "I've been called here by something," he tells you. There is a flower on his shirt, and he looks slightly singed. "I left the battle because something pulled me to the church. Who has burned it? Is anyone inside?"

You explain what you know, and the man begins to panic. Just then, an unseen door opens on the side of the wall.

Another traveler stumbles outside and looks at you. You help her to safety, taking her near the well. The ghost man cries, "Where is my wife? Where is Billy?" He helps the other ghosts to safety.

All of you convene at the well as the church continues to burn.

In the distance, near the mansion, there is another fire burning.
