Are those power supplies?

Shocked Surprised Those are some serious batteries..... I've only seen those used when powering traveling carnivals or street festivals, and that usually was only 1 or 2 for enough 10'X10' booths to circle a small block with about a third of those being food vendors. They expecting to not use PG&E or Socal Edison for power and just bring it themselves?

Yes. Those are standard generators for events. I'm in TV and have done conventions and things like the Rose Parade, and those look like pretty standard power generators. I imagine they will need them for the arcade, the lights (which will likely be theatrical rather than standard florescent), the sound system that will undoubtedly be blaring... and whatever else they may unveil for us.

I just hope this '2nd Flynn's Arcade Go-round' they have yet another hidden chamber, maybe this time, behind yet another precariously placed Tron machine and it leads to the basement to Kevin Flynn's touchscreen comp, then a laser projector scans the crowd and the wall moves exposing people dressed as the TL characters. Damn my speculative imagination....

Well that's an infuriating pic.! Something big is definitely going on... but what? No idea!
~sigh~ Guess we'll see come Thursday!

I stopped by there yesterday and dropped my business card off to see if I could get my "in" with those guys before it starts.

Last year, both the Flynn's Arcade and Alice exhibitions shared the same building, the arcade on one side and Alice on the other.

Now that Flynn's Arcade has the entire building to work with, I expect there to be quite a bit of content added. Think of what they did last year, then double it.

Visitors on Thursday were transported into the world of Tron Legacy. Beginning with a visit a Flynn's Arcade with video games covered in plastic, discovering the computer terminal Kevin Flynn used to create a new virtual world, being digitized, and arriving at the End of Line club.

The club was populated with programs, including a Siren. The programs were wearing actual costumes from the movie. The identity discs were from the movie as well.

LOOT:
Token set in a Tron coin purse
Coaster from the End of Line Club
Limited edition print of the End of Line Club and the date

He didn't tell you the best part.
Bruce Boxlightner was there! He signed my 20th aniversery edition of TRON!
As were the director and producer. And check this while they didn't have Daft Punk there, The DJ wasn't just some hired DJ, It was the Music director for the movie!

I snagged a pile of these (with permission!), so I probably have about a dozen extra. If you'd like one, shoot me a PM.

Seems like with this pic http://yfrog.com/6wxoltj

Flynn's Arcade isnt open to the general public, and you have to obtain a ticket at comic-con to be able to get in.

I grabbed a bunch of the coasters too. I should have at least a dozen.
