I appear to have a little 4 above the icon on my home screen, but when I access the mail area and such, I can't seem to find a darned thing. Where are you people going/what are you doing?

That icon should be the number of friend invites. Under updates and messages.

New program here... long time reader, first time poster.

They recently (within the last 24 hours?) expanded the availability of this app to include users outside of the US. I ran into exactly the same problem described earlier in this thread on Tuesday and I just managed to nab the app today without messing with settings or creating a new account.

In passing, thanks to everyone here for making the lead up to Legacy exciting. Mr. Green

Just received a Disney press release by email, which included this key description:

Quote:
...Starting today, anyone who has checked in at ComiTRON (located on aisle #3712) and opens us the app will receive an exclusive "golden ticket" to the Studio's offsite ComiTRON event, revealing information about the event's location and timing...

Don't know if this is referring to Flynn's Arcade, or another exclusive event, so only someone who does it and gets the info will be able to share Smile
Anyone have the app on the show floor? Already checked in? Did I already miss a big reveal about this? Do I deserve a trout?

Multiplayer

A request:

When you are playing multiplayer, PLEASE don't shoot the same color tanks.
I know that when some people fire up some online shooting action, they like to kill everything.

Killing the same color tank subtracts points from your score. That's why the other blue tanks aren't shooting back at you. Very Happy I spend a bit of time running from teammates until I have to sacrifice points and dominate them until they leave.

BTW, I killed a few hours waiting for the Identity Raid countdown yesterday. Check the top 10 on the leaderboard in your profile. I did it all for you guys. Represent the forums! Smile

Oh I know, but something else will be and I'll be sitting here moaning and whining how I hate SDCC while folks on the ground take part in cool scavenger hunts and score sweet swag. Bah, curse my fanboy love of rare swag!

While we were in the chat before the panel somebody mentioned it's possible to extract the music from the app to be stand alone tracks. I can't figure out how to do it, I right clicked the app in iTunes and couldn't get the files. If it helps, I'm on an HP Pavillion running Win7.

Sidenote: I can't get the trailer I downloaded from one of the guys into iTunes so I can add it to my iPod Touch. It's .qtl and it's the HD trailer. Any tips? Thanks for the help guys, still trying to get used to my new laptop.

I don't believe you can download an HD-encoded trailer into an iPod/Touch/Phone. iPod/Phone video files usually get their own encoding for files. Especially if your original file is in .mov format.

Description changed!
Check this out

Hey, guys?

I'm a noob here, but I just saw something!

Go look at the app's description in the app store! IT HAS CHANGED. Apparently the game isn't all there is to this!

Now, after the binary code (which I assume is the same, someone might want to confirm), there's one more line, a set of coordinates:

+32 42' 31.63", -117 9' 32.06"

Searching this in Google Maps returns an address:

335 6th Ave, San Diego, CA 92101

GMaps has Street View available, which I checked. It seems to be centered on a curious-looking building with no name or sign on it. Looks like stucco on the outside, sort of a Mexican design to the facade. There are a set of black double doors in front with long metal pulls I think, hard to see it very closely. There's a lot of hardwood around the windows.

NBC San Diego Events calls it the Culy Trucking Warehouse.

Some website named Culinary Concepts (but with the address www.cateringpsecialist.com) has this to say about the building as a potential venue:

"In 1914, Frank O. Culy started the Culy Trucking Company in the historic heart of the Gaslamp Quarter's East Village to transport goods to early San Diego residents. Today, the warehouse is a multi-purpose 15,000 sq ft downtown event center. Located between J and K on the 300 block of 6th and 7th Aves, directly adjacent to Petco Park and within easy walking distance to the Convention Center and the Gaslamp Quarter, the Warehouse offers a unique and ideal venue for corporate events, trade shows, live performances, fashion shows and other events. The warehouse offers ample parking, easy access set-up and take-down, a full caterer's kitchen, and customized store-front, signage, and entrance opportunities on both 6th and 7th Aves, with excellent visibility from both Petco Park and the Gaslamp. This space is divided into two connected warehouse units: the Jack Dodge Theatre and the Culy Warehouse Studio. The warehouse features 16 ft open-beam ceilings, 4 tall wood-and-glass front doors that can be thrown open for a dramatic entrance effect, cement floors and walls, for a combined standing capacity of 1,300. The space is a "blank slate", but not so rough that you have to do a lot of dressing up. From a barefoot bar/beach club, to a Harley Davidson roadside saloon, to a sleek nightclub theme, the space user-friendly, and limited only by your imagination! The spaces have hosted local and celebrity events, from performing arts to fashion shows to Super Bowl galas and clients such as San Diego Magazine, Disney, Fox Studios, and Cadillac."

It also lists a website for the venue itself: www.culywarehouse.com. I've been through it a bit, about half of it is 'coming soon' banners. There is a PDF flyer downloadable from there, with some names & numbers.

I've called the main number for the venue, sounds like an otherwise normal message phone. I've also emailed a request for more information "about the building's history, and that of the Culy Trucking Company", we'll see if I get a response.

Am I going too crazy, here, digging too deep to find something that isn't there? Can someone else go through these sites, see what you turn up?

Very Happy

Ok.

Ok, I'm retarded. According to this NeoGAF thread, 335 S 6th in San Diego is the address for Flynn's Arcade. Very Happy
