Dear Jack,

It appears we've gone back to the animals with all that mewing. I'm more of a dog person to be honest. I agree with your extra sense though; something sinister is afoot (and for once it's not your humour Smile ).
Allow me to assure you I am a King of Cards, just not the sort that holds court.
I only ask so many questions because you provide so few answers; you are quite the enigma, and how I love a good puzzle. Either way though, I much rather be a real bad ass like the Riddler, then a glossy woman's mag (did you know Elle's been Uncovered), something that I hope does not befall either of us. Trust is such a funny thing; cost to have some can vary greatly, but it takes so little to use it up. You have however not used all of mine, so lets see where this takes us? Time to step through the rabbit hole (again)?

'Where shall I begin, please your Majesty?' he asked. 'Begin at the beginning,' the King said, gravely, 'and go on till you come to the end: then stop'

Wise words that oddly fit... So please find attached the first document we discovered. It's a beginning of sorts... a first tentative step towards??? A mutualy beneficial acquaintanceship?...

...Your thoughts?...

...Oh and my apologies if you recieve this twice in my haste to respond I failed to consider your fire wall not liking my big pictures...

And, for this message at least, here's an end.

King of Cards

k, we solved "JB Wainwright 100630 pt 1 .txt" a while back with vigenere..... "JB Wainwright 100630.txt" or ("JB Wainwright 100630.key" which was the raw format Cyngs sent) was the key....

It read;

Quote:
Dear Mr Kahn, leader for the Liberian Patriots of Freedom

I understand your concern about the wares, but I want to re-assure you that the AK47 still meets the high standards of today and stands tall next to both the M4 and the SCAR. A sudden change of weaponry would not only raise unnecessary questions about the origin of the wares, but would also be an unnecessary increase in price per unit, where to my knowledge resources are spreading a bit thin at the moment, and the usual orders would do the same job quite well.

It might be unrelated but the lawyer we met last week, his email was haroon1khanSPLATgmail.com
do you think that this lawyer is the same "mr Khan" referenced above?

As a supporter of your cause, you know that what motivates me is always to support your interests in any way I am able.

Regarding the order of demolition explosives, I have a man in your area who is in production of the wares already.

I wish you a strong and quick road to power to give your country the freedom that it deserves. Long live the Patriots.

Dear Mr Jelani of the military board, Government of Liberia

I am sorry to hear of the terrible attacks made to your country. It is always difficult to tackle a domestic threat of this magnitude. Blackwell Briggs has a long history of defending governments and corporations from these kinds of acts of terror.

I am sure we agree that the top priority in a case like this is to control the situation and remove the threat. While that can be hard under the control of unions like the United Nations, I wish to assure you that Blackwell Briggs are just the effective and discreet solution that you need to handle these types of problems.

I understand that in times of need, economy is not always at it’s peak, but fret not. Blackwell Briggs has a long series of different agreements and contract structures to work from. For us it is not about money. For us it is about building a safe and withstanding future together with your nation.

Get back to me when you have had some time to think about this. We are reaching out the hand. All you have to do is take it.

Yours truly,

JB Wainwright

Nice one Prowler! Looks like we've got all sorts of corruption going on...

Can you post your solve for those and as Cyngs mentioned any chance you can clarify how the 5 or 6 files became 2 emails? is there more to crack?

Sent that one to Jack last night:

Quote:
Dear Jack,
Intrigued and summoned to immerse myself in someone else's reality, it has been a delight to embark on this journey.
While it could take 80 days to go around the world, I only have 6 to help a successful landing.
So here I am, grabbing the bull by the horns, taking inspiration from the ones who stood the many battles since the last blue moon.

As much as the clock is ticking and I'll soon hit the 10 bells, part of my origins push me to be neutral.
So as nothing is lost, nothing is created, all is transformed, I will fuel the alembic in search of the perfect alchemy.

Native of a land annexed 150 years ago by a man more authoritarian than republican, I value white gold more than jewelry.
18 years of discoveries in the valley of the decolletage was what I needed to make my way to the city of the orange tree.
Over there I had to reprogram my brain.
1+1=10, 0x21>21, Ping has a value thanks to Pong, silicon is more important to men than women.
In these 5 years, I discovered more about mankind than I had done since coming to light.
I was introduced to my first member's only society, learning the values of fraternity, respect and celebration of traditions, all of it with no politic ties.
Opened my eyes to the world, motivating me to set myself on a journey and get free from the beast or iron.

LEMMINKAINEN, full of joyance,
Handsome hero, Kaukomieli,
Took provisions in abundance,
Fish and butter, bread and bacon,
Hastened to the Isle of Refuge,
Sailed away across the oceans.

I spent 6 years in the "Manchester" of the North, filling my head and developing my hands, thanking St. Michael for watching over me when I kept on discovering the air.
I was fortunate to work there for a rubber boot manufacturer, became known for my tenacity and pro-activeness.

I believe this is enough for you to understand who I am and give you room to see the new opportunities I bring to the quest.

No matter what the short term agenda is, I believe we'll all converge towards the same focal point.
Therefore, I will not be expecting anything from you, but will use of my liberty to ask you for help if needed.
Being a bit rusty on solving skills, I'll be sure to reactivate my reflexes before even thinking of reaching out to you.

Response few mins ago..

Quote:

Venerable Vernes,

How refreshingly free from requests and demands.

Well; thank you for the autobiography, but maybe you should to cut down on the spice? I'm not telling you how to live here, it's just a friendly suggestion.

Well I am certain everyone will be positively thrilled to have another poet on board. I know I am.

No intentional disrespect,

I am a bit disappointed...
First of all, what's the reference to me taking drugs?

Did I make it too complicated for him to understand me?
I thought he was a genius...

Guess am gonna reply something a bit less poetic..

You are the latest in a line of people using theatrical methods to converse with Jack... perhaps it's just all getting monotonous for him?

I played with words, and used a lot of cultural references.
I thought he was the master for that and would enjoy the challenge.

I guess we don't really know who that guy is and what he wants to do.

Reply to Jack:
Quote:
Mysterious Spade,

from your answer, it is uncertain that you understood the meaning of my prose.
I believe some references can be lost in translation, especially crossing cultural borders.

If by spice you meant white powder, or white gold, then I might have to stop skiing, but I don't think that's gonna happen.. It's like a drug.. to addictive.

Am glad you consider me as a poet, but I guess I have more talents up my sleeves.
Not pretending to be a pretender, but I am definitely pro-active and can jump right in a situation.
It was a bit of a surprise to be allowed by Nadirah to be doing the exchange, and was definitely a rewarding experience.

Am looking forward to empower the new recruits and put an end to Sir Ian Briggs.
I have a feeling that his impact on the Blackwell Briggs company hasn't been the best, and might not be welcomed by BB's investors.

Not having so much time to really get to understand you better, it would be great to get some insight on what your interested in pursuing.
Maybe we could find some mutual benefits in there.

Best regards,
Jules.

New reply from Jack:
Quote:
My Dear Julien,

Am I being wilfully obtuse? There are no boarders on the internet -- well, that is a slight exaggeration (read: naive lie), of course there are borders. (Then again, borders aren't anywhere but in the mind really are they.)

So. You want to know what my ~*agenda*~ is, do you. Well that's ... not new. But I thrive on attention! And I really like what you're doing with the words here even if your vs you're, but who am I to judge. I simply do not have the time to rejoinder in any satisfying way at all, a lot of things have to work out tomorrow.

BUT ONE DAY
one day soon.

and my reply:

Quote:
Dear Jack,
Thank you for pointing out my spelling limits. 3AM is rarely a good time for a French to write emails...

Let it be the human body or spirit, we are yet to meet their physical/spiritual limits.

When it comes to expectations, the best way to avoid false ones is to communicate.
Understanding one's level of engagement makes it possible to move forward.

Joining the quest in the middle, I got excited about getting deeper in the action.
Guess I was expecting too much for what could happen during the week.

Still in the midst of Brazil, after practicing the art of crushing limes to accommodate Cachaca.
Need to shake that off before joining the teams.

Looking forward to an amazing afternoon.

Thank you.
Regards,
Julien.
