We get like Fan Expo thats about it lol and the list of people showing up is not that great.

I'd love to make it again this year, but not sure if I'll be able to. Had a good time last year though!

I mean in the sense of ARG's the only ARG that had alot going on up here was Dark Knight which was amazing, but for most of the other ones we may get one event and its quick and then over. Then we have our mail delayed like much longer than the states so we get stuff we already read about lol.

There has to be a ARG based in canada sometime!

dude, I live in East Tennessee..... we literally don't get JACK when it comes to stuff like this. I'll step aside now and let the cool info about the hunt take the spotlight. I'm not trying to argue with you, just count yourself lucky to get what you do get. anyway, back to the regular scheduled program. Smile

here's a good blog about the event and some good pics. it's on and off topic as it mentions some of the ARG element to the hunt, helloflynn. http://www.stitchkingdom.com/disney-news/movies/report-flynns-arcade-returns-sdcc-lets-attendees-reach-line/

WHAT FORMAT ARE THOSE USB STICKS? were they regular USB or different, never got full confirmation.

The package has a double wristband and a disc with a usb stick that is one half of a usb plug. Onle one file, data_store.mov, the trailer they showed in todays sdcc panel. Its a 2gb card, file is 371mb

Has someone uploaded this file somewhere? That's more than twice the size of the 1080p trailer file from the Yahoo site. Makes me wonder what the resolution of that file is, or what else could be in there. I'm also going to guess it does not have a watermark. I need to check the audio tracks on the Yahoo file, maybe the difference is stereo vs 5.1 audio?

I'll put it on my server when I get back. 371 MB is a bit much for me to do while here. I might try tonight to see how long it takes. I think it's bulky because it's quicktime, IMHO.

Here are the stats I got from gstreamer on it:
1920x816
H.264/AVC
24 fps
raw 24-bit PCM audio, stereo, 48000 Hz

The original trailer had MPEG-4 AAC audio, so with the raw audio, that could explain the size difference. Also, the original is 1920x800.

Heh! I was #33 in line with the No Bit picture. ARG Fortunately I succeeded with the Yes Bit... one sprained ankle, two skinned knees, and eight bruised knuckles later. Mr. Green Tremendous thanks to FSURobbie for coordinating with me and my ancient piece of crappy hardware.

all of this just plain hurts to the grid-lined heart.. I am in MN.. and the amount of swag in the works for this at SDCC is just plain obscene for the rest of us to fight over, or just drool and be envious of. Very sad indeed. Crying or Very sad

Just curious.....
Since we do know that the Identity Discs are number xxx-500 What number did those of you who went get?

I had multiple people in my group and we ended up with 3 discs.

Nice low number for the poster! For my posters my group got 147/700 and 223/700. They ran out of posters, so not everyone that was there got one.
