Hey figured i'd ask here bout the trucks, Is ne down at Otakon, any mention of the truck being there, I'm still n the hotel n dont wanna miss nething if it's coming here or not.

You cannot dish out the trout unless you include the link.

A trout is a GENTLE way to remind folks to search and look before posting. If you nag at them without the link, that makes you look like an arse. Including the link lets other folks coming into the thread know where to go instead of duplicating the work that was already done.

 		my friend and I got a free popsicle (the red white and blue rocket type) and a t-shirt. We had no idea this was an ARG.

Thanks for posting the picture!

If you can take some closeup photos of the popsicle wrapper and different sections of the RP image on the shirt (such as the image that appears over the moon(?) and so on), the label, and if there's anything on the back so that the crew here can analyze the tar out of it. Then start it as a new thread.

Also, where were you when you scored with the shirt and the popsicle?

nothing at otakon. i was cosplaying as The Toxic Avenger. We stayed at the Days Inn all weekend. No RP or any sign of anything Super 8 Related :\

We were walking back from lunch (iirc), in downtown San Diego, not far from the front of the convention center. We had already seen the truck once, but missed it, this time we made a break for it. We saw them handing out a couple other items with the popsicle and shirt, but we didn't get one. We actually thought it was an actual ice-cream truck, and didn't think anything more of it, and didn't keep the wrappers. I'll post a couple pics of things I noticed about the shirt in the Comic-Con analysis thread.

Still learning the rules of the forum (like the TROUT designation... which I just learned)
