Adrian eyed everyone around here carefully. He felt the need to be a mediator. He stepped forward, and with one hand, pulled the man's hand off the girl, and the other, grabbed the hand he had un-extended, and shook it.

"I don't know exactly how much I can trust you." He said in his raspy voice, "However, that's no need to kill anyone. You address a woman to get her attention, you do not stalk her sir." He said, eying the woman, trying to signal that she could leave. "But..." He said, pulling the man forward, and shoving him out of the way, revealing to him the man with a knife behind him.

"Listen, I'm not gonna act all high and mighty, saying, don't carry a weapon." Adrian said, pulling his revolver out, but holding it up in plain sight, but not pointing it at anyone. "However, what I am saying is, don't be so quick to use it. If you do, your life is over, and your looking anywhere from ten years if he lives, to life in jail."

Adrian spit out his finished cigarette, stomping on it, and put his gun away. "Now everyone calm down, or I will not hesitate to blow everyone of you the fuck away. I have nothing to lose guys." Looking over at the girl, she was still there. He looked over at the man who had been following her.

"You better apologize to her, or leave her the hell alone for the rest of your time here." And with that, Adrian walked off to his room, disgruntled, wet, and in emotional pain.

Things were winding down. The guy from the accident had more or less calmed the two retards down, for which J.T. was grateful for, but why was everybody carrying a freakin' weapon? The crazy one had a knife and now this guy had a gun. What would be next? The smoker coming out with a chainsaw and cutting everyone to pieces while "Bohemian Rhapsody" was playing in the background?

True, he had his bat slung through the loop of his sling-on, but it wasn't like he had brought it along to brain someone with it. He was bringing it to play some baseball with his cousins.

It was now that he realized how many people were on edge. It seemed that the only ones keeping composed were himself, the smoker, and that guy who had come onto the bus looking like a drowned rat. He was starting to wonder if maybe he should make friends with one or the other; that way, if everything went to shit, he'd have someone to back him up. There were just way too many stressed-out crazies on this trip, and he didn't like it one bit.

-Hissssss-
The bus door's opened and left off a stew of passengers. Among this multitude of people, was one Davey. "Damn, that bus ride took forever. I never thought it was even going to show up." muttered Dave.

Upon walking into the near motel, he saw a bit of action going down. "Man, I always miss the fun," he sighed. "Oh well, a group this tense is bound to argue more, I'll get my chance to catch something on my camera."

"Seeing as the one just ended the conflict, I'd say he is my favorite person here. Or at least, for the moment. I might as well go say hi." So, with a mixture of exhaustion and laziness, Davey walked on down to greet his first person in Beam's Creek.

"your right" muttered John "my brothers been missing for a month now and I'm fairly on edge, you know? Guess, this little freak made somethin snap"
He looked at the girl and wondered what she was doin wandering around at night anyways. "Go home kid".
Turning back to the raspy voiced man, John offered his hand, "Names John"

Stephen noticed the fight wasn't going to happen, so he stopped, staying a good distance away still. But for some reason, he couldn't shake the feeling that he was being watched. No one seemed to be watching him. He brushed it off as him being paranoid, and continued to walk to the hotel. I think I'll just go and stay for the night. Tomorrow I don't even have any classes, so I have time to get home.

Chris Smith just stood there. This is just like high school. guys fighting over the girl. except by the look of these winning Prom King would be way easier than in school.
"Take these guys seriously." Chris thought to himself."Remember your here to escape from your old life. not to make fun of people." He gave these people one quick look.

He really admired that raspy voiced guy.

"John" kinda freaked him out.
Goody two shoes. Well. He called Chris a pervert. but he did save Chris' life

The girl. She caused enough trouble already.

He said to her: "Sorry I just wanted to introduce myself. ive never been in a situation like this before haha."

Chris introduced himself to the other guys. Maybe it was fit he show off his desert eagle. Comon, everyone else had their weapons out. Chris waved around in the air looking an idiot. wow.

He then swung his bag around his hip to put the gun away and accidently wacked the john in the chest with his bag that had weights in it. wow.

Chris looked at these people he almost got in a fight with:
"I'm kind of a beverly hillbilly. i came out here to live differently for a few months before college. I'm from a pretty sheltered gated community in LA. I think i picked the right place to be. i've never met people like you guys before."
Chris looked at the cutie, knify and raspy.

"Just want a different point of view. You know?"

Chris was happy. He might be making new friends.

Darkness surrounded them. The hallway they were trapped in had become a dark abyss with a lone figure at its end, blocking the exit. The man laughed at them; his dark eyes held an insane soul behind them.
"Shit." she panted, trying to support her companion. With a quivering hand she raised her gun, but the man moved too fast. He raised his hand, the Darkness becoming a wrist mounted gun along his arm, and blew away her only defense. He cackled madly as he charged them, the Darkness becoming a bright silver blade. She tried to leap back, she tried too defend herself, but the weight of-

Thalci's writings and her disconnection from the world were interrupted by a gust of wind that blew the pages of her notebook haphazardly; she was sitting on a bench in front of the bus terminal. She shivered, even with her jacket it was cold out. She could see the hotel nearby, but she wasn't sure how long they would be stuck here so she decided to wait inside the terminal.

As she went to sit down, she noticed a girl who had not been on the bus with them. She might be a local. Thalci decided to make conversation,
"Hey girlie, what's your name?" She asked as she sat down beside the young stranger.

BeeBee was currently working herself down from very-near hyperventilation, attempting to process everything that had just happened. First- this guy- then that other guy- then there was a KNIFE then a GUN and-and he grabbed her and---

You know, she was starting to think her paranoia was justified.

She realized the Twilight guy was talking to her and attempted to steady her voice enough to speak.

"I......th......I didn't mean for everyone to get out their weapons...." She reached into her bag, pulled out her pill bottle and popped one into her mouth. "Sorry... I freaked out... Um.... Hi." She shook his hand, a little awkwardly. "I've, uh.. never been to LA." She smiled sheepishly, still shaking a little violently. Something was just OFF here, about this PLACE, about these PEOPLE, about the... the AIR. It was a little misty and rainy, but that didn't explain why everything felt so... BAD. "I'm.... Bri... if you wanted, you could call me BeeBee... and apparently I'm the root of a lot of trouble...."

She compiled a mental list of who everyone had been, how they'd reacted. The male model guy, despite her initial reaction, was obviously a harmless, brainless-pretty-boy type. She smiled sheepishly, feeling more than a little mortified she'd almost gotten him stabbed.
The man with the knife-He introduced himelf as John. He was creepy. Very, very, creepy. But he was supposedly looking for his brother, and he had come to her defense- maybe he was a knight-in-armor type. With violent tendencies. Could be useful, could be dangerous. He obviously wouldn't just stand back and watch if she got murdered, though.
The same could be said about the man with the gun- wait, was that HIS car wrapped around the tree over there? Shit DAMN. No wonder he looked like he'd been through hell and back. His raspy voice almost reminded her of a cop, or a old fashioned detective from the forties. He said he had nothing to lose- and had handled the situation pretty well, all things considered. He might be someone she could ask for help if she got into a tight situation... but then, it looked like he DEFINITELY had his own problems to deal with.
The other guy- well, he was somewhat of a bystander, but he'd at least tried to talk everyone down. He at least wasn't the type who ran into a fight, weapons drawn.
For that matter, why DID everyone have.... knives and guns and shit!!!?
Well, at least now she knew if a serial killer showed up, there were people in the area with weapons.
Unless of course they turned out to BE the serial killers.
"Listen, um.... sorry, and thank you and sorry... I'm going to walk over THERE-" she pointed wildly at the hotel- "if anyone else is... coming...."

He was never going to understand people. He really never would. But if they were going to start acting all buddy-buddy, then he might as well TRY to make the best of it.

"J.T." he said, earning him some looks. "My name...name's J.T. Uh, from...well, Mass, originally, but I guess I'm taking up residence in New York..." Yikes, when was the last time YOU held a decent conversation?

Well, could you blame him? One minute it was the ending of Reservoir Dogs, the next, everyone's singing Kumbaya. Johnny Boy looked like he was going through the ringer; what he say, his brother was missing? And the other kid was just...he still didn't have any words for him.

The chick was a pill popper. Not a good habit to get into, chickita, he thought. Dangerous shit, that was. She must have some issues. But hell, didn't all these people?

That was certainly what he was believing at the moment.

Now every one was buddies and no rape was goin to occur, well at least right now, it was time to focus on Sam. maybe he had stopped here?
"Excuse me miss" John mumbled to the receptionist at the lobby desk, "did a man named Sam Slater stay here? He was my brother"
was? god damn it! He still is, he's out there!
"Hmmmmm, this is strange, he did actually. About two weeks ago, but never checked out"
shocked, John walked back out towards the group without saying anything.
He could still be here

Jeremy sat as the events before him unfolded naturally, a little awestruck, a little disgruntled that people could be led to violence so quickly. He wasn't a big fan of modern society and its tendency to do this to people, even if he did love people themselves. He was glad when no violence occured, though.

Oh well.

Coughing a little and trying to dry himself off, he adjusted the beanie on his head and sighed. He thought about making a snarky comment about the fight, reconsidered, thought again, and then ultimately decided against provoking anyone here. besides, he wasn't that nasty of a guy- he didn't want people to think he was, either.

Reaching into his bag to put away the notebook and obtain a Nintendo DS, Jeremy flipped it open so that he could(hopefully) play some games. Funny. He remembered putting batteries in the damn thing, but it refused to turn on at all. Maybe it was broken, he thought disheartedly.

Peering around the room, he spotted someone who appeared to also be something of a writer, and he smiled to himself. It was good to know that he might have someone to talk to tonight, and besides, that someone was a female, too.

Even uneasy and nice a guy as he was, the thought made Jeremy grin to himself.

(I'm ALIVE!)

Adrian had stopped when the man called after him. He waved his hand behind his head, signaling that all was good between them. Then he turned and saw that he was getting a lot of attention. He wondered if he really had been that noticeable. He looked at the buildings and even saw people staring.

"Great, so much for keeping quiet." He muttered. Then the man who had been deemed by someone(he couldn't remember who.) a rapist, spoke up. He realized this man wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of things, and come to a calmer place. Adrian respected that. Looking at the group, he appeared to be respected, but honestly could care less. He looked over and noticed a man, lazily walking towards him.

Great, more attention. he thought, as the man approached. But Adrian made the first move, trying to make the conversation quick. He eyed the man carefully before speaking.

"Hey, my name's Adrian." He said, in a slightly calculating voice, but he then turned his attention away soon after, and redirected it to the group. John was walking out of the motel, seeming surprised, the girl was now talking to the Los Angeles guy, and others were hanging around. Before anyone could say anything, Adrian was already slipping away to his room.

He pulled out the pack of cigarettes he had used all day. One left. He had another pack in his pocket, but he stopped and stood there in the rain. He threw the pack on the ground and looked up to the sky. He wondered to himself, should he stop smoking? Stop smoking in the memory of Jul-

He cut off the thought, realizing he had tears in his eyes. He shook his head, and picked the last cigarette out of the pack from the ground. He flicked his lighter open, but it was really raining bad now, and the fire wouldn't stick. But instead of going to his room, he headed inside the bus terminal where he saw multiple people. He hadn't found a person he could truly say he liked yet, and he wanted someone to back him up if a fight did actually break out.

Entering he saw a man with a DS, a woman writing, the girl from earlier, and the employees of course. He walked over to one of the places to sit in the corner and observed the people. He wondered if any were trustworthy.

Chris saw that the commotion he caused was over. At least he talked to people. It was awful sitting there on the bus doing nothing.

Everybody was walking away but they were all still staring at him. Guess Chris did make a pretty big deal. Chris apologized to John again for wacking him with his bag.

"Im gonna look around." said Chris. "If u wanna come along go ahead, but you probably have other things to do." The smoker was over at the bus terminal. He doesnt really wanna be social or anything thought Chris. and the girl stammered something incomprehensible and ran away.
What was up? these people were weird as heck.

He sat on the curb by the street. Trees. Bus Terminal. Motel. Trees. Bus Terminal. Motel. Trees. Bus Terminal. Motel. Chris kept looking at these three things.

He then looked closer at the trees. One of the trunks.. was weird. He noticed trunk next to it. They seemed to grow closer together like an upside down V.

Chris followed both of those trunks upward until he tilted his head back so much his neck popped. Oh My God. Chris started to breathe heavily.

Nuh uh. Cmon. No way. I bet everyone who watches marble hornets imagens slenderman in the trees. Chris looked at the smoker chillen at the bus terminal, and then at John. Then back at the trees. It was gone.

Still, Chris felt paranoid. What if john comes back to stab me?
He sprinted into the bus terminal, sweaty as fuck even though it was in freakin canada.

(Damn, I was completely tied up this week and had practically 0 internet access. I apologize.)

The loud horn on the bus blared through the small terminal that wasn't much more than a bar, a motel, and a travel desk.
"Sorry, folks - the bus has encountered mechanical difficulties. We should be ready to go around 3 AM.
"Damn," Jack muttered to himself. "Just another reason to hate bus lines."

The clock read 9:38 PM. Curse words were heard amongst the bus passeengers.

3 options. Sit in the uncomfortable plastic chairs in the terminal room, spend $35 to sleep in a hotel for an couple hours (which was very wasteful,) or pull up a stool in the bar.

Jack took a seat in the bar. A large-ish room which was pretty dim, walls, floors, and furniture were mainly wood, with neon beer logos on the walls. A typical Canadian bar.

"Sucks pretty bad, don't it?" Jack asked to the guy sitting next to him. He asked the bartender for a Molsen.

Looking outside, he could see a tall guy walking slowly in the foggy, cold distance. He couldn't make out his face, however he could see he was wearing a suit. He wasn't on the bus beforehand.
He looked kinda like the guy Jack had seen in Toronto, however he was sure that whoever that was couldn't have followed him, as he spent a pretty good deal of time covering his tracks to the bus.

"Who the hell's he?"

((Phewf, caught up on the reading! Going to get in a reply while I have a couple of minutes!))

Ashley had been sitting on the plastic chair, minding her own business during the entire encounter over Bri -- BeeBee -- but that hadn't stopped her from staring. Three men seemed to surround her and spit and growl at one another. A couple pulled out guns, of all things, and one was even waving his around. Her eyes had gone huge at that. What was this, Alberta? Texas? Nobody carried guns on them, that she knew of. Even the junkies that lived in Beam's Creek were relatively harmless. The fact that Adrian was one of the two who had pulled a weapon out only confirmed her suspicions that he was the kind of guy that she wanted to stay far away from, only now she was expecting to see the telltale flashing of red and blue lights. Maybe he'd been chased by the cops and was trying to hide out, here after he'd totaled his car.

Her thoughts were brought to a careening halt as a brunette -- a lady maybe half again as old as Ashley -- sat herself beside the younger girl. "Hey, girlie," she asked, "what's your name?"

Ashley pressed her palms into the arms of her chair, thinking quickly: All of these people off the bus seemed a little weird somehow. A little off. Well, some seemed more 'off' than others. Thalci, by comparison, didn't look all that crazy. Maybe a little scattered, or artsy, or something, but when Ashley did a quick scan of her person she didn't spot any pistols or bowie knives or anything. That was a good start. Deciding to be honest, for once, she replied with a simple, "Ashley... or Ash, whatever." She gave a shrug that nudged one of her still damp pigtails over her shoulder. "What's yours? Where's the bus going?" Aside from the loony bin, that was...
