So. Glad. To be. A MotoGrrrrrl right now.

I wouldn't want the Light Up version, the reflective tape/striping version would be perfect and like stated earlier, not illegal here like the neon ground effects are on cars. WANT! "Hello Cycle Gear, are you going to be carrying these?!"

Hell yeah! I agree about the refec tape, but the paranoid rider in me worries about all that black regarding visibility during the day. I've been knocked off once already and had enough close shaves where the car driver's only response was "oh, I didn't see you there"

I put in ~12k miles/year and the old riding mantra "Pretend you're invisible" has served me well over the decades (knock on wood).

Does that work when you're giving a cop the finger?
How about when you pass a speed camera?

Holy crap, the merch thread has a sheet with official merch in it. The suit comes with boots and gloves in addition to the jacket and pants. Just need a helmet now.

I just wish there was a link to preorder since I'm so down now.

if you want the reflective suit, put some money aside. If you're like me and want the lightsuit. Don't hold your breath. David is struggling with the lights. And well, if he can't get it perfect, he won't do it at all.

I heard at the EOL club that the lights in the suits were breaking because the tech couldn't handle the repeated cycling of motion, and required constant repair. Even if he gets the lighting working, they'll likely not last long.

well it's about creativity too. Josephs costume designers obviously didn't have this issue. And honestly, they didn't do a very god job with the battery pack or the identity disc holder.

Props don't have to last, and don't have to look perfect on close inspection. they are usually shot from a fair distance, often moving, and may have additional effects applied in post. This is why a LOT of movie costumes and props don't work worth much when you try to recreate them for normal use. The autoslide Nokia in The Matrix is a good example - Nokia's real model(s) that did that broke a lot, and the aftermarket faceplates to make other models look and act like them broke too.
