I saw the woman at the booth, but I didn't realize the suit she was wearing was the motorcycle suit. Very nifty! If I owned a motorcycle or was in any kind of shape I would get it...haha. Disney is definitely throwing there full might behind the merchandise for this movie.

Nice shirt too! I keep going into the bathroom with the lights off to see mine glow.

Those are some amazing looking suits!
Nice thing is it would make it easy to cosplay as new-school Tron...
Bummer part is there is no way those are gonna be affordable for the average person.

wow - one question, is that 'glow' because of reflective tape or does it glow on its own using something like http://www.lighttape.com ?

Some information about the suits (from Replica Prop Forum, the suit makers post there regularly):

- Cost for the motorcycle suits from $800-1200 for a full suit.
- The material they use is custom, its breathable and has the hexagons woven into it.
- The suits are reflective only, no built in lighting.

RPF forum post with a ton of info and pics here:

There may be a jacket with EL tape or another self-lighting source but they are having problems with it. Here's a photo:

That is awesome!! I can guarantee that those will be non wearable for riding in states that already outlaw any type of neon lighting for vehicles and such... such as here in WI.

alright guys heres the scoop on the light suits. they are made by david pea. the two models at the tron booth were wearing his initial prototypes. the actual suits will be much nicer. the manikin at the EOLC was also his. 1 suit takes about 3 months for him to properly make and the lights are not neon (led i believe). he was supposed to have a fully functioning one at SDCC, but couldnt get the lights to work properly consistantly. expect to see these on his website soon.
