 		Decode ranks and medals
I'd like to use this thread to document the different levels and decode what they all mean. There is also a roll call thread

 		I think there are 12 levels - 4 Ranks for each branch
Janus
Amateur / Debut / VIP

Tomas
Rookie / Pro / Champion

Ekat
Lab / Inventor / Gamma

Lucian
Python / Rattlesnake / Copperhead

still trying to determine the cutoff between the 2nd level and the 3rd level.

 		After studying 12 Tomas cards, I think it's based on # of medals, and the prestige meter shows how close you are to the next level.

Rookie (2, 4, 7 medals)
Pro (31 medals)
Champion (35, 38, 40, 41, 43, 45 medals)

Confirmed:
Level 1 - up to 7
Level 2 18-30
Level 3 - 35 and up

I think I've seen some Janus VIP (level 3) with only 31 medals, but some Lucian rattlesnakes (level 2) with 33 medals.

Judging from the 'locked' material in the card editor, there are six ranks for each branch for the Lucian branch:

There are at least 30 puzzles to solve.

I finally figured out where you found that.
There are new pictures to choose from for the front of your card. I'm betting most people are happy with the front of their card, and haven't changed anything.
There are also locked pictures, and hovering over the pictures tell you what you need to unlock them.

Lucian levels 4-6: Black Mamba, Death Adder, King Cobra
Janus: Celebrity, A-List, Superstar
Ekat: Quantum, Atomic, Supernova
Tomas: All-Star, MVP, Hall of Fame

I also added 26 allies to my ekat account in order to see how it advances someone with only a few medals.

Medals are the easiest way to advance ranks, but adding allies, and having people add your code also adds to your prestige, which gets you to higher ranks.
That is why Gordon Korman has VIP status, even though he has only 30 medals - he's got 500 people who have added his card. Most people need 34 medals before achieving VIP status.
So I'm guessing every 100 allies/allied is the equivalent of 1 medal.

With the above list and these 4 that completes my list of 50 as of right now.

If you go to the back of your Agent card and look at the medals that are "locked" there are at least 25 more to go. They are as follows:

CARDS-4
PUZZELS-5
MISSIONS-6
BOOKS-3 PLUS 3 MORE FOR BOOKS 8, 9 & 10
CLUES-4
