The PG-13 rated movie is about a group of teens who spend the summer together and deal with the struggles of growing up in a 1979 steel town after a train crash forces the town to come together.
Interesting.
Wickham is probably another fake title like "Cheese" or "Chocolate" when they made Cloverfield.

Don't put too much trust IMDB as a source for hard movie news since it's largely user submitted, and often (but not always) inaccurate about movies in pre-production where little official studio news is released.
Since casting for LITTLE DARLINGS was mentioned before the casting rumors of S8, I still think it might be an actual film and not a fakeout by Abrams.
The apparent fact that Abrams is using 'Darlings' as a fake title for filming SUPER 8 may well be an intentional coincidence and just good misdirection on the production's part, as with CLOVERFIELD before.
I suspect we'll find out the true nature of LITTLE DARLINGS soon enough, one way or the other.

Its not uncommon to film two films at the same location..
But, I highly doubt this is happening.
The odds of the same company filming two films with kids and a trainwreck are pretty high..

Interesting mention of an 'editor' - was that some local paper you contacted?
Nice wallpaper too, but you ought to resize it a bit.

Casting underway No new info, but have been following local paper:

P.S. Love the "I have been instructed to write only the information I get .... even if that information is inaccurate"
It's so blatant it has that odor of misdirection...

I live in Weirton and my wife told me that the owner of the tanning salon that she goes to has been contracted by Paramount to film the outside of her home. She said they told her the movie is tentatively titled Darlings and it is a sci-fi movie. She was told the reason for Paramount wanting to use the exterior of her home for the film was because her home looks like a 70's home which is the time period for the movie. They are paying her a good bit of $ to film the exterior of her home so I'm assuming that it is not just for general B-Roll.
