That's a bit offish isn't it?
Agree 'tho wondering if this might be a viral for The Walker Art Center in MN ran a search there.
They have no medieval/tapestry collection. Their hallmark is:

Our internationally acclaimed collection of modern and contemporary visual art
Since a 13th Century tapestry might be Flemish am still interested. FWIW I also use a "candycane" font around the holidays.

The thing I'm baffled about on this is, the letter/clipping doesn't seem to hide any clues of either a website or any contact info...
So I mean what exactly are we looking for??

That's exactly what I wondered once I really started looking at it. I didn't know about amandel's candycane font, so I spent a lot of my evening turning the envelop in different directions trying to get the red parts to show me letters or numbers. I had no luck.

1770 L St NW doesn't seem to be a real place either, Ive been on streetview looking around and the addresses only go up to 1750 on the side with the even numbers, it's a Ritz Camera shop, on the corner of L NWand 18th, so not really anything interesting there...
1770 is the building that camera shop is on the ground floor of, assume they are apartments.
I also looked up Peregrine Dalton, the only real hit being Captain Peregrine Dalton, a character in a romance novel called Hearts of Stone...

I think we ought to pay attention to earlier or later articles of Mark Brunswick as well.

Such as which ones? And, for what exactly?
I'm confused.

MW has two pleas for help up on the blog . The first is finding the connection between the Walker article and the Strangers. I've been looking on Craigslist after MW suggested it in an email. I haven't found any suspicious tapestries for sale yet, but I'll keep searching. The second has to do with the Dr.'s last message. Apparently, there's something more to the recording than we've discovered so far, but I can't download the recording (not that I'd know what to do with it if I had it). If anyone else can look into the recording, I'd appreciate it.

I doubt Mark Brunswick's articles in real life have anything to do with this.
It could be related to the Hearts of Stone book. First chapter is online and it is about a time jumping lady trying to get a treasure out of an old castle. Theory #1 is that at the end of the book, they end up jumping together, but cant get all the way back to her time due to both of them trying to jump, but bring back a few treasures, namely a tapestry that he later donates?
Other than that, I do not see any other clues, perhaps the second person who received an envelope can verify that theirs says the same thing?
-eta if it comes down to scouting on foot, I am not far from the area. (I know there are other UFers closer than me, but who knows if they are looking at this game)

I discovered the following:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
A post on Craigslist for a tapestry that I believe is the stolen Walker tapestry. I've informed MW and Interpol. I've also contacted the seller asking for more information. Also, the photo on the listing is of the Bayeux Tapestry .

I also recieved a letter in the mail - will be scanning it today.
It appears to be a history of the Tapestry, and gives some insights as to the Order.

Been out of business for a while, not a lot happened though.
So I checked zazzle.com and found a link to an old ARG, seems quite unrelated. There is also a different kind of the same button offered (with a keychain), doesn't seem to be important as well. If anyone wants to see by themselves: http://www.zazzle.com/delacy
