Like the dude said - When BiG BeN goes off... I would presume that would be BST as that's when the bell tolls. Calculate your time zones from current London GMT

He is being accompanied by Detective Walenski, so I know he'll be safe. I'm running things while he's away, he started the next set of experiments to measure any short-term effects of the injected mice. I'm supposed to mix the slurry and inject the mice with different concentrations to assure that there are no short-term effects. This is the first time he has left me in charge!

Pretty clever; the sound file attached is a clip from the movie where Dr. Schreber is telling the main character there are people after him.

 		Did you notice the FB event now says 17th Sept? (Did also change to 11th at first). Seems like quite a long time off considering it was going to happen last night? Confused

 		Well, he posted why; he's 'going to SF to try and find a friend who may have gone missing'.

Is anyone out in SF? He posted a public offer to meet with people there. I doubt /Schreber/ will show, but someone might. Very Happy

 		OK, I live in Sacramento. And I was contacted directly by the good Doctor for a meet up. After looking at my girlfriend and going through the fear stages of proposing to her that instead of chilling this labor weekend we chase down a fictional character from a movie she finally accepted that we can drive down to SF for a meeting.

Yet something appears to have gone wrong. Either this was never supposed to be a live event, one of us got to the Doctor first and they have yet to report in, or something happened IRL that prevented this.

Here are the text messages I received:

"Im on a plane to SF w Det. Walenski to make sure my friends alright. Once thats estblshd could we perhaps meet hlfway? U sugest a plc."

Pause on the text: If you live in the bay area and you propose a halfway location you can pretty much bet I will come back with the In'n'Out at Fairfield. Yummy!!! Smile

So I explained to him that I had another obligation this afternoon. To which he replied:

"I'll b arriving @ 7pm but I'll b busy findg out what hpnd 2 my frnd. Maybe 2mrw?"

Perfect. Alas, the next day he txt'ed me:

"Dr. Goodwin was'n't there! I'm taking the nxt flight out. So I cnt meet u m sry. u also signed up as a partcpnt - do you want protection from interpol?"

Nah. I'm a strong guy. I'll take on those aliens. :p

"Ok. C ya nxt time am in ca!"

And that was it. Thoughts? Sounds to me like this was more of an information piece than a live event.

sounds that way to me but you never know. Might be a chance at a live meeting eventually as well.
