Yesterday myself and shylilembrace as well as others received an email from Bob Jenkins

Both myself and shylilembrace contacted Bob about the email and where given the contact email of himbehindthewallSPLATgmail.com. He also stated that Steve would be working at the asylum in Arkham. In my email he stated

 		What an awesome tabletop! Only drawback being that we have to break open the fold out table just to fit all the cards and such.

Anyways, the way the tabletop works is that once the elder god awakens the players must work cooperatively to either close the gates completely or defeat (yeah, right!) the nightmare. Might be useful in terms of the gameplay for this ARG.

He should still be in Arkham working at the Asylum. He rarely visits uptown. I believe this to be because of the church being there. In fact most of his time is spent downtown.

I am glad to hear of another who follows his word. I have met some from Dunwich but I doubt you are from around there either. With my brother gone we can finally summon him. Although I have heard recently of a new threat to us. It is just a myth but there have been disappearances.

Oh God, this is terrible. I'm halfway to Minneapolis and this happens. This definitely sounds like a open gate, but there aren't any open. It sounds like there may have been a temporary opening of a space-time rift. At this point there are two options: Let the creature terrorize Dunwich to prevent Yog-Sothoth from being summoned, or kill the creature ad attempt to seal the gate. I leave the choice up to you.

Only a few bodies were found and as far as the police know they weren't found. The Scholars Society sends men out on night patrols daily to look for evidence of open gates. The damage done to these bodies is unnatural and hi can't be something small like a ghoul. However, there are no open gates. Something that exists in our world is doing this and it will most definitely not allow us to open the gate. We have to focus our manpower on covering this up and taking care of it permanently. What do you know about these kind of things.

Odd... if it tears but doesn't eat it's likely expressing rage...or maybe it simply prefers the trunk and skull to the other parts. organs are quite useful. however you musn't rule out the possibilty that it is a gang of men. ever heard of being quartered? quite nasty business. and again body parts nad organs can be used in several macabre rituals

I can't see that link from work, but according to Wikipedia there is a Dunwich Horror expansion to the game as well.

Points of reference:

The Dunwich Horror by Lovecraft

Dunwich and Arkham, fictional locations in Massachusetts, in numerous Lovecraft works

Yog-Sothoth, mentioned in a few of Lovecraft's stories

The "King in Yellow" was one of Lovecraft's influences...

The part after crypt looks like a code to me. I used to be really good at identifying code types but I've gotten very rusty with a year and a half out of ARG's. I was thinking it could possibly be a Base64 but the / threw me off.

Are there any html reasons for a code like that?

The second was from Bob in response to my mail about Steve's blog post

 		Well...

I'm playing a P&P Call of Cthulhu, we recently sealed Yog-Soghoth back into his own realm. I'm not sure much of what happened applies, but the way we used it is in the Necronomicon. Can either of the brothers make it to the Miskatonic University to sneak a peek from a translated copy?
