[TRAILHEAD] A Realm of Emptiness

So this blog has been going on for about a month now, but is now beginning to do ARGish things. Connected to this is A Lifetime of Laughter, which is run by A, formerly from the Slenderblog A Lack of Lexicon.

Right now, there are two riddles unsolved. One of the characters, Paragon, depends on the riddles to go from room to room. The other, Sam/Hider, is running low on food (she's also been receiving other things from A, as well).

A's ultimate goal, apparently, is to kill the Slender Man. They haven't yet revealed how.

So there are two days before this puzzle's deadline and nobody's posted a possible solution to it yet. Anyone want to give it a try?

sure, if i'm not too late.

the initial solve is:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I reven was, ma always ot be,
Eerf syawla nees eb, ot reven,
Yet still in the hopes of all that exist,
Tsdim rieht ni eb reven ll'i but.
What am I?

(which is obviously going in reverse in spots to add difficulty)

the method for that solve was:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
ROT each word based on its length -- a single-letter word shifts backwards by 1, a double-letter by 2, etc. The way I got there actually used a Vigenere tool with the following pattern:
b fffff ddd, cc gggggg cc cc,
eeee gggggg eeee cc, cc fffff,
ddd fffff cc ddd fffff cc ddd eeee fffff,
fffff fffff cc cc fffff ddd ddd.
eeee cc b

This gives you the riddle:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I never was, am always to be,
Never to be seen, always free,
Yet still in the hopes of all that exist,
But I'll never be in their midst.
What am I?

And my guess for the answer?
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
the future

I'll let you submit it, or whatever the game requires. Good Luck!

Just to point out when I was looking at it myself real quickly and saw your post when I typed that into google I came up with a more modified riddle. And the answer to that riddle was

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
tomorrow

I guess in terms either one could be correct.
