Hm. Well, I'm still interested. I suppose that the question really comes down to when. It's a reasonable price (I'm be interested in learning more about the physical makeup) but when would you expect payment, and when could we expect them to be sent out?

Payments and such Yeah just because your name is on the list doesn't mean we are sending you the bill when they are done. I usually don't like that sort of thing so you will simply pay for them when they are done being made. The prototype master set might be done this week I have to check on some things.
The other person helping me on this project is a very well respected member here, you all know him and he is the person that is having the molds made and the "geometric answers" cast in plastic. The will ship from him I am simply doing the models and what I can to help out.
We are definitely trying to do this fast, I won't speak for the other member but I would like to have them sent out before the beginning of November just so everyone has their money for Christmas without worrying. I think the shipping will be cheap as we can just do flat rate boxes.
You will not have to pay until we ship them out. We should have the master set hopefully before the end of the month maybe after and I don't know how long it will take to make the sets. Shouldn't be too long.

It is generally a kindness to not embed images, especially ones with a long load time, but just give the links for people to click on.

embedded pictures. Don't worry in a few days we should have pictures of the master set of "geometric answers" to put up and the gifs will be unnecessary.
Updates coming.

3D Geometric shapes and more hey guys. Sorry I don't post much anymore, my computer hides the reply box when I try to add to a thread. I can still pm fine. I ask some people to post stuff for me. Some do,some don't.
the 3D geometric shapes are coming together well. "diamond" and "ball" masters are being lasered today by the ape! I've got a prototype toy company that's willing to mold and cast the "shapes" after that.
in addition, some of you were interested in having the FL badges turned into pins. Assuming there's currently 22 pins, would any of you be willing to buy the set if it cost $4 a pin? Of course it would be professional quality. Metal, not some cheap junk.

Mystery Member revealed. Yeah so it is SocalSteve and I working on these. The Yes "geometric answer" and Neutral "geometric answer" are being lasered out right now as we speak and I pick them up tomorrow so hopefully I will have some pictures up. Making the "no" "geometric answer" is proving really tricky so hopefully I will have that ready to laser out tomorrow.
Me and Steve aren't the richest people so what we may do is see if we can get a $25-$35 deposit from each person that wants one and that will cover the cost of our supplies to produce 30 sets. Then you will just owe the difference.
The bits that were made for the zero hour were done on an older machine and if you will notice they were lasered with somewhat notched layers.
The ones we are doing are officially 5" squared and will be much much smoother and more realistic.
So I will hopefully be posting some pictures tomorrow assuming the machine doesn't mess up.
There was a type there I just fixed it. Steve and I are NOT rich, trust me...
Sorry is that made me sound like an ass cause it did.

OK, officially interested now I've seen some pics... Although, I'm a little bit worried that payday isn't for a while, and I've got to somehow fit elecTRONica at Disney into my October TRON budget...
Not to mention a trip to England before Hallowe'en
I'd be willing to pledge/pay a deposit... Can you break it down any further for this single income family man?

Master Set Completed!!! They LOOK BAD ASS!!! So here is the master set, they are enroute to Steve and awaiting the molding process.
The only thing that happened was that the "no" "geometric answer" was crazy difficult to model.
The points on the long tendrils were extremely fine and they said that they hadn't really lasered anything out that fine before and it never really survives the process but this one did. A couple of the lips popped up by hardly noticeable. Steve's guy will either fix it or round down the other ones to match. Other than that these came out PERFECT!!!
I have gorilla huge hands so me putting my hand next to these don't do them justice. They are 5" squared and each one is equivalent to the size of a SOFTBALL!!!
They came out so great I can't wait to see them in color.
