@ Xeno Lambrose

Haha, thank you for that welcoming and some insight on same-sounding phrases.

I am really hyped for this movie and am trying my best to help all of us ARG-ers on trying to figure out such things like this. So...also, when i listen to the audio file, to me, i get this feeling that there isnt just two people talking, theres a third. Buuuut thats just me, i may be wrong. Lemme know what you think.

How would he prove that? By including a recording he had surreptitiously made of Josh perhaps in a pet store, perhaps checking on his aquarium he wanted, or specialized fish food, or some related item. This would validate what sounds like a dog barking in the background.

Maybe it's time to visit the local pet store and check out some of the things that we've theorized hearing on the clip? Wink

You know, that actually makes a lot of sense to me also. I think that this is the most plausible explanation I've heard so far. It ties in with everything we've seen so far and almost seems air-tight based on everything we know. I've been thinking of everything that it could be and was actually starting to wonder if this was on Coop's spaceship XD. I over-analyzed to much so it's nice to see a theory that finally makes perfect sense to me. Props to you guys.

Well, this would mean that Mysterioso also provided the Braegen14 folder with the expcnv sounds on it as well..

Maybe this conversation is the first portion, the non interesting one, before the home made super 8 film becomes interesting. This audio clip is the proof they're talking about in the PDF. The audio clip being distributed with the MP3 makes sense.

Or this is a conversation in some barbershop with someone behind a counter (in Weirton or another place where the film being made) and the guy doesn't realise it's being taped. It's could be a pointer to the location being filmed. That would be fun, but highly unlikely, bc how the Twisted Evil could we get in contact with the guy.

I'm ditching my speculations and am going for gold with this one. Josh doesn't seem the person who would know anything about php, be pro-active, deal in spooky video's et cetera. He probably doesn't know he got em and sold them after his mum died and surprise surprise an spooky retired USAF guy or old friend of dads or something like that got 'm now and tries to have contact with Josh (the shy fish nerd who becomes the unwilling hero or participant). This old friend knows some ~secret~ military group is also still low-key looking for the tape.

Hmm his unlikely actions connecting to Josh really are bugging me, the're are more clever ways to get in contact without leaving such a trail behind. I know, the trail is for us, hyperactive puppies.

I was referring to everyone getting words out of that backward message like it sounded important... sometimes I think users here just read into too much of their own shit without realizing none of it makes any sense or matters.

Xeno's interpretation is the only interpretation I see makes any sense at all right now. Everyone else' seams to be caught up in semantics or silly "but I heard this!" crap. This is my honest opinion.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Male 2(or 3): - Blue cam/can/?piano,......

- Flay on it.
- Fly on it
- Fly in on it
- Lion on it
- Line on it
- Play on it

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Male 1: Do you think there's any ...........

- In the back?
- Of that?
-Of that now?

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
?Male 2: No
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Male 1: Ok, sorry.

 a plausable theory

What i think happened was there are two groups of people. there is the military people hiding this alien in the train car in the 70's or whenever and there are the people out to dispose or possibly expose the creature either because it is too dangerous or just because they think the people have the rightt to know the truth. anyway, a lone phinatic crashes his truck into the train and releases the creature to either expose or dispose of the creature, either way it is freed from captivity. I dont know whether there were more than one child or just one child but someone filmed this on accident and got a good glimpse of this goverment cover up. now, josh is the possessor of this crucial evidence and both groups of people, the government and the exposers (or disposers) are in a mad dash to get this tape. Josh is contacted by mysterio, it is unclear which side he is on, but he supposedly knows where josh's long lost daddy is. the new audio clip in my opinon is the government side meeting about the search for the tape and josh himself. The whole thing revolves around the super 8 footage! Cool

what about another possibility, what if the voice is josh asking for something in a store, nothing impotant just something (can, cam, it doesnt matter) and it was only posted on the computer to tell josh he is being watched and to scare him, like omg thats my voice on this recording! someone is following me!.
p.s. they probobly are after the tape and want him to give it to them

edit: sorry i just finished reading the thread and this seems alot like Xeno's post...oh well i guess im just agreeing than Very Happy

To me it sounds like, with the clues picked up from everyone here:

Customer: "Sorry didn't see them back there."

(dog barks)

Worker: "If we'd had any, it'd... (can't tell)"

Customer: "Blue can, a lion on it. You think there's any in back?"

(register beep)

Worker: "No."

Customer: "Ok then, sorry".

I am thinking the last word "sorry" is from the other person and should be separated from the last sentence.

"Sorry didn't see them back there."

(sound)

"If we'd had any, it'd...?????"

"Blue ????, a ???? on it. You think there's any in back?"

(beep)

"No."

"Ok then"

"Sorry".

One more take on it

Maybe in the clip, we have began listening not at the beginning of the conversation, but after it's already begun.

Perhaps #1 has asked a clerk, "Do you have any blah, blah," and before the clerk can respond, #1 says to the party in back of him/to the side:
"Sorry, didn't see him back there." (It's as if #1 is in the middle of talking with a clerk, and maybe while gesturing, or moving, had inadvertently bumped into #?'s dog, which we then hear bark.)

#2 says, "If we had any, it'd be on the shelf."

#1 says, as if to make sue the clerk knows precisely the product he's looking for: "Blue can, lion on it; (and with nary a pause, to see if it's possibly located any where else in the store, continues saying) "you think there's any in back now?"

#2 says: "No."

#1 says: "OK then, sorry."

As far as the tones I only hear two.
And if I were to guess as to who Mysterio is, and as clear as Josh's(?) voice is compared to the clerk, I would say that Mysterio's the person with the dog (and I believe the dog's on a leash, for if the dog was being held, the 'bark' would have been louder) next to Josh, and as soon as the clerk says "no," I believe Josh is saying, "OK then, sorry" as he's walking away.
