Solunar Calendar
do they mean something?

The "best times to spot rare fish" at

http://www.hooklineandminker.com/

are somehow adapted from a Solunar Calender such as:

http://www.in-fisherman.com/solunar-calendar

See Aug 10th and 24th and the similar times throughout.

What is their importance???

Speculation:

The forumula to calculate "best times" from a published source was left to Josh by his father.
They are contact times used by Josh's father and a person unknown.
Josh's father worked at Area 51.

That's a much better match than the other calendars I've been looking at. Except even this one has two hour intervals while Josh's is only around 45 minutes usually.

Yet again, I don't think there's much one can glean from this besides that it may not exactly be used to spot rare fish exactly. Those days immediately before and after the same a.m. p.m. times are usually big dates to hope for some new info. I think that much has been agreed upon.

Looks interesting for sure. Found a site that will generate one of these calendars for the month by whatever zip code you put in. I did it for 25801 but didn't match up. Could try some others.

Personally, I dont believe this calendar which changes every month has anything to offer as far as clues to the game.

It may not yet but I think it will in future.

Uses map Coords and Time Offset - Looks Promising to try to match the one we have - I do not have the time to Play with it right now so have fun

Great Find I think this the right kind of calender - now lets find out (if we can where it is for

Are we looking for the moon data times?
The Major times?
Or the Minor times? (these seem to be the best match, although there is an hour between the times)

I was just about to suggest that, I've been entering zipcodes for the zips around 25801 but so far no matches and no pattern for how this calandar calculates things to better direct my search. Oddly enough my location in North Carolina has provided just as good if not marginally closer than the West Virgina zips.

I'm going by major times since those are supposed to be the "best" times.

Ive found a place near me where the moon major time starts at 4:17am and sets at 6:38pm on the 1st of the month but thats as close as it gets, the rest of the days are way out.
Time to put the coffee on I think!

Yeah, I match up (as in the time on the calandar includes the time on the best time to spot a fish calandar) for the 8th (which is the day I'm looking for first to match up since that seems to be a three or four star day on the solunar). Not anywhere else though, but the times are close. I wish I knew the way the calander is calculated so I could better refine my search.

Also, here are the zip codes I've tried surrounding 25801:
25844
25801
25880
25174
25932
25839
25817
25836
25827
25871
25851

Umm, the times for this evening (Friday the 6th) are 9:47pm-9:28pm. I hope I'm not just seeing things.
This means it's either a typo or a clue... Question

Maybe a typo, but I did get a help email about my recruit form during that time...

So attached are all the calenders and salient dates (Josh updates or PDP printout additions). No massively clear patterns; I was wondering about the background tint-In solunar calanders it apparently represents peak fishing times.

The times don't (currently) correlate to anything..

Just for giggles, I plugged in Area 51's zipcode (89044). Assuming I set the UTC offset correctly (-7?), it didn't correlate. I'm convinced the calendar is a clue of some sort. Just can't see how.

I am also convinced it is important, but can not figure out how. I've looked at it as some sort of concealment cipher, null cipher etc...

But I am no expert in crypto .... I do agree it will prove significant - if not now -- later.
