Very cool, makes me wish I could attend SDCCC --it'd be great if the ARG sends game tokens out later this year.

Perhaps we should organize a runner to grab tokens for the UF members who can't make it to SDCC?

(Is that even possible?)

Yeah they do. Wish I could make it. Live in LA, but gonna be busy. Was living in SD last year and kicked myself for not being able to go. Damn work.

You probably get the token for whichever postcard you got.

This is just idle speculation, honestly... the only information we have on the tokens is "From Flynn's Arcade"... meaning the only place we can be reasonably sure of finding them is in San Diego, this weekend.

It would seem unlike them, though, to show off something that only a select few could have... I would expect that, tied to the online version of IdentityRaid that was mentioned via the twitter feed, tokens will likely be mailed out to people (either singly - and if so, I would expect a random token - or in sets).

Regardless, we won't know anything until Identity Raid, which as of now, is about 35 hours away... Wink

Since I'm not attending, I'd appreciate any swag anyone can spare.

I hope you are right but if last year is any indication that wont be happening as the tokens were only available to con attendees. I had to bust my hump to get one through trade and it still took months to find someone willing to part with one.

Multiple styles of Coins in 2010 vs single style last year?

I paid the scalper price of $20 for my token on eBuy, but it's in Mint condition in one of those coin holder things. This new batch shows a couple different styles of tokens naming different games. Was that the case last year, or was there just the one style that said FLYNN'S ARCADE/HOME OF TRON?

These are about the only swag I am hoping to bribe someone to pick up for me. I work for BevMo, we can make a deal.... heh. One thing I'm still hunting is a Bit, and I've only seen one on eBay since starting the quest for it in April. I'm guessing those were very few in number, perhaps the lowest number of an ARG related item given out so far.

Yeah, last year it was only the Flynn's Arcade token, the D-Con 4 and Krazbot are both new.

There were also Flynn's Arcade tokens (old style Flynn's Arcade/Home of Tron ones) in the wallets from the Zero Hour pickup, so don't count on them being entirely con exclusive.

OK, that's good to know. I PM'd a member on here about trying to get me some of the tokens. I really want those. I have my Comic Book Guy Dealer Friend trying for the Action figure for me. Good luck to everyone trying for stuff!!
