Ah... there's this... markofsirius23, who in a comment on "Hearing Strange Things" calls himself Andrew seems to have been posting photos of Jon in his sleep and making some very cryptic comments over on the Slender nation boards. I suppose this is "the" Andrew that we are supposed to be following?

Wait. MarkofSirius23 was a Youtube channel that had some sort of large man talking about a paranormal church. That video is gone though.

The one thing that irks me about this series (as with pretty much every video / blog series except for MarbleHornets, EverymanHYBRID, Seeking Truth, Dreams in Darkness, and a few others I fancy) is that it gets to the meat too quickly for my taste. For example with MH we didn't find out about J's memory loss until Entry #17 whereas here it's showing up as early as video 7. This certainly isn't as bad as a blog where the first entry is "Dude I've been coughing a lot does anyone know what this is about? Oh and by the way here's a weird symbol that nobody has ever seen before," but you know what I mean.


Pacing-relating quips aside, the visual effects in this latest video are stunning. The moment in the closet / dark area actually freaked me out, especially with the noise and whatnot. And that doesn't usually happen to me with most of these new series. There are definitely a lot of things they stick in the trippy bits and there's plenty of eye candy for us. Quite interesting.

I'm actually liking this series in different ways than EMH. The effects are stunning, the scares are a bit more original, and I don't mind Jon's lisp at all. His acting isn't that bad, either.

I can see this being a more...."apocalyptic" series than the others. They've gotten to a main character's "hollowing out" faster and more severely than either MH or EMH, and I hope it becomes less of a man trying to avoid Slender Man and more a man quickly losing his sanity and how it effects him.

I can see it ending with Jon completely gone at some point.

He sounds too monotone-ish, creepy, and totally out of character (in game) for it to be over, and considering what the hidden message is in his twitter post, I'll wait for the next video
