He doesn't quite seem slender enough to be Slender Man. He IS tall, however. I reckon you should be fine.

...Also, Slick, please make this happen. >_>

Did you guys check out MARTYRS??

If you don't - do it now. I can see some angry posts about it, but trust me, it's one of those films worth checking. Just you get how it is: I know true horror fans, those kind of guys that watch those films that are always mentioned in "most shocking films", and they say that they love MARTYRS but never EVER want to watch it again.
Yes, it's this kind of movie.

Anyways, if MARTYRS is any indication for this, TALL MAN will be brix shitting for 2 hours straight!!

Have you ever seen Inside? That movie, along with Martyrs , ils and the current French death metal scene have convinced me that the French are hiding a second face of brutality that I theorize is a response towards all of the jokes about being cowards and surrendering at the drop of hat that they've had to endure for several decades.

Now that I know this is from the guy who did Martyrs, I honestly don't know if I want to even watch it. I still have trouble making up my mind if I liked Martyrs or not, I know I'm sure as hell not ever going to watch it again, it disturbed me on a level that put me into a depressive funk for a week. I just don't know where I fall in line for that film. When it comes to the Tall Man, I actually dread ever finding out what the secret is that he wants the children for.

I've read Slick's treatment. In the final shot, just as we're panning away from the burning orphanage, with the wail of the air raid siren punctuated only by the screams of immolating school children, their pale faces mashed up against the windows in a horrific tableau of senseless genocide...

I've always thought that if Troy and Joeseph let their troll flags fly high and proud, that would be how they should end Marble Hornets. Jay falling over dead, staring into the camera, then Slenderman walks away while "No wifin' in the club" blares out.

Hahaha, Mira XP

I am guaranteeing I'm giving it all I've got. I submitted my first ten pages to my Screenwriting professor for my final last semester and he gave me an A+ on it, so I'm pretty optimistic. One thing I promise is that it's not going to be a Hollywood horror (i.e., lots of blood, lots of gore, lots of gunfire and explosions and whatnot). I'm really trying to go for psychological. Try to make it the essence of what Slender Man is.

When I finish the first draft, I'll send it to whomever wants to see it for proofreading and feedback. The ultimate goal really is to send it off to Hollywood to see what happens.

Slenderman movie
Fo' Realz!?

There's probably already a thread about this somewhere, but I'm gonna post it anyway.

I'm excited, yet scared at the same time.

First off, in before the massive amount of raging that is going to ensue.

Second off, yes. Yes this has been posted A LOT. It is not even remotely related to Slender Man.

Run while you can.

Legit Slenderman Movie and videogame reference
SXSW

Hey all, was just browsing movies.com and I came across an article for the SXSW (South by Southwest Film Festival). Among the movies being debuted is the following gem:

Quote:
The Tall Man
Director/Screenwriter: Pascal Laugier
When her child goes missing, a mother looks to unravel the legend of the Tall Man, an entity who allegedly abducts children.
Cast: Jessica Biel, Jodelle Ferland, Stephen McHattie, William B.Davis (World Premiere)

Coincidence? In my opinion its too close of a synopsis to be accidental. The article in question can be found here:
http://www.movies.com/movie-news/sxsw-2012-midnight-films/6556

Also, in a recent issue of GameInformer they mentioned a character in an upcoming videogame named "The Thin Man" who they flat out admit is based on the Slenderman Mythos. Unfortunately I threw the mag out but if anyone has a copy of it they can verify the claim (its a big budget alien themed game).

In any event, looks like our pal Slendy is getting some mainstream love. Smile

Oh for God's sakes, how many times is this Tall Man movie going to be brought up in here before everyone finally realizes there's no connection whatsoever? XD

Pretty much until it comes out and we can see for ourselves just how much or how little it has to do with slenderman.
